End of the month time and its time to reflect and look forward.
Was january that bad, was it that gloomy, was it that terrible and was it your worst nightmare?
Or did we all blow it out of all proportion and figure out that january was not really a problem at all?
The way i see it considering the people i have dealt with, most say that early january was tough getting into things, but now they are over the worst, and the initial pain has well and truly gone.
Exercise seems to be going a lot better and while january is traditionally the month where we all just put our heads down and get on with it, january this year seems to have gone better than most!!!
As we look forward to february, the nights are definitely getting lighter and picking up pace, same with the mornings and the only thing that can slow us down at the moment is the ice and cold of course.
Once the prospects are looking up, you should be more encouraged to back yourself and achieve a lot more from here, if your goals are self-improvement and a better body and better health.
Andy Murray unfortunately lost the australian open yesterday, and all the tennis analysts seemed to comment on the negativity he was giving out. He seemed to cus and scream at himself at the slightest opportunity, and a ton of negative energy seemed to come out of him each and every time. He seemed to show every emotion vividly to the camera, and his opponent seemed to be lapping it up and went on for a good victory!!!
The facts are that most champions seem to lose in semi’s and finals earlier in their career, before learning how to win, maybe that’s what murray is going through right now. hopefully it is as none of us really know how hard it is to be at that ultra top level where margins between losing and winning are so fine.
The lesson you can take out of it is to move forward with confidence and celebrate your progress, and avoid focusing all your energy on negative things going on, the time is now to be positive and build on your success already in 2011 so lets have another great start to the week and get some real momentum going!!!

Nothing unfortunate bout Murray’s loss Ke, Djokivic just waited for him to make mistakes, and they were never too long in coming, first percentage serves were a lowly 53%, groundstrokes never in any danger of hitting their target, BODY LANGUAGE was negative throughout, movement SLOW AND SLUGGISH. If he ever gets to another GRAND SLAM FINAL, he should do us all a favour and leave his mother at home, nobody should have to look at that, what a creepy woman . Your right it must be hard at that level but if you cant stand the heat get out of the kitchen, after all he is suppose to be a PRO. As you may have gathered, I dont like the guy, he is too fond of throwing his TOYS OUT OF THE PRAM as was McEnroe, but he was a genious with many Grand Slam titles under his belt, RESPECT has to be earned. Raffa injured and Fed, dont know what happened there, but given their last performances on court, they would have beaten Murray, that was his best ever chance of winning a GRAND SLAM and he faultered, dont think he will have a chance like that again, no Raffa or Fed. Or course I could be very much mistaken, but I dont think I am.
Hey Jean, you may not like Murray but at least his SHORTS FIT !!!!!!!!
Back to Zumba tonight. Had 2 mile walk yesterday, stiff as a poker. Goes to show what inactivity does to you. Chest still not right but I think if I wait for it to be ok it will be Xmas again !!
I KNOW that I will feel better for it and that’s my motivation right now.
How are you Cyril ?
Let us know.
Deb xx
u alwyas tell it how it is jean, a straight talker if there ever was one!!!! hows your training going?
well done debs and glad to see u back into it!!!!
Well Ke, with every good intention I started my diet and exercise routine on Mon 3.1.11 at 14st 1lb, 1st week went very well and I lost 5lbs. The second week also went very well and I lost 1lb, but into the third week, mid week it all went pear shaped. I got down to 13st 7lb and then it went very cold again and I just could not be bothered to go out. I started back training again 2day, run 30mins walked 20mins this a.m. 13st 10lbs today, the weather helped 2day, sooo great sun shining, makes a big diff. Have a wedding to go to in July in Pembrokeshire, so whatever I can lose would be a bonus, wish I could find the determination that I used to have, never mind I will plod on. Well done Debs, nothing wrong with walking thats how I started, I just find it so boring, same with running, Andrew has bought an IPod and he said it makes running alot easier and he wears weights as well, he was doing 40mins in the morning be4 work and he found it, well not easy but he wanted to make the 40mins harder so he bought weights and he said now when he is running he feels like he wants to stop, he didnt get that be4, so the weights make it harder, told him I dont use weights and I feel I want to stop all the time.
well done on starting again jean, andrew is right about the ipod, it will help as long as you have it securely fitted, it tends to bounce around otherwise.
anything you can do to make your workout harder then great, but watch your knees and back when carrying weights, that would be the only drawback
NO WORRIES KE, I HAVE NO INTENTION OF DOING THAT
good jean keep it up and your best
