Taking a couple of steps daily to go in the right direction matters and makes all the difference in you getting to where you want to be.

Making sure your kit is ready to go and washed for the next day for training makes things a lot easier and cuts the excuses out.

Making sure you put good nutritious food in your shopping basket is MASSIVE and a signal of intent on the way you intend to eat from now on every week.

Asking for support from those close to you in your intent to make the gym is important, life sometimes threatens to get in the way, but even sparing 30 mins for a gym visit 3 times a week will make ALL the difference and everyone’s support around you counts for a lot.

Think of your wellbeing-both in terms of physical AND mental health. You need to take the right steps to make sure both happen in a good way continuously.

Take these steps continuously and feeling good will become like the most natural thing in the world.

Having faith in yourself is exactly like a muscle. It needs to be worked, it needs practice and it needs regular attention.

If you work your arms for example, and then have a few weeks off, they will get softer, they will get weaker and not be capable of anything like you were back when you were working them regularly.

It’s easy to lose faith in yourself the same way. If you miss workouts, stop testing yourself, think it doesn’t matter anymore that you don’t challenge yourself so much in life, then you will start doubting your ability again, you won’t be battle hardened, and quitting is the number one way to lose faith in yourself.

Faith doesn’t come back easy either, but faith is the only way you will get back in the saddle and try to be your best again, faith is the thing that keeps you going when things seem dark and cloudy in your life, faith is the thing that keeps you strong when everything around you is falling down, faith brings you back up to your feet just when you needed to get out of the hole you may have got into.

Faith needs you to be courageous and keep showing up no matter what.

Fri 4th Sept

A new member came in yesterday and said one of the most refreshing things they saw at our gym is not only the constant coaching and other members helping other members, but the constant chatting, talking, members asking about other member’s welfare, health, what’s going on their lives, AND they said this NEVER happens wherever they trained before, as everyone usually puts their headphones on and just goes on a machine and they usually don’t bother with anyone.

All the workouts, all the workout plans, schedules, remedies for pain, plans for great performances all matter too but having so many individuals who care train with us matters more than anything!!!

Thank you to all of you who care about others, who pick people up when they are having a bad day and this shows the SOCIAL side of the gym is deeply important to all of us in good times and rough times, as everyone will have their ups and downs in life.
