Hi guys, just posting some of my results.started my training on jan 4th and was weighing 18.2,after a month i’v managed to drop down to 17.2 still lots more where that came from though.my eating has been pretty good but not as good as some of the guys on here but i have managed to train well.Taken a big leaf from keri book and been doing 3 tough circuits a week and basically any cardio i can fit in.Short and Sharp.feel like i’m starting to get a bit tighter in body but more importantly for me is that im not out of breath carrying the kids to bed and feeling a damn sight better for it.Had my ups and downs too,had a couple of really negative moments thinking “to hell with it” but who doesnt hey…ps where is every one else posting, has keri frightened you off with THAT rant the other night.
No Chris we are still here, and our Keri can get very passionate about diet and exersice, just as well we know him. You are doin very well indeed, a stone in a month, I would’nt complain about that, I think men can lose it quicker than women. We all think “the hell with it” but I tell myself that I have nothing to lose by sticking to it only weight, and if I dont I will just get bigger. Keep up the good work and keep posting. Jeanx
inspiring post chris, shows what can be done!
My name is Wendy I am 43 years of age with two children. I work full time as a medical secretary and sit at my desk for the majority of my day. I feel that the lbs have been creeping on, and I have become unfit. Even though I have a busy lifestyle with work and family I do feel that I have no time for me.
My New Year’s resolution is to get in shape, and I have started with cutting down my food intake since early January and trying to eat healthy. I am normally a carbohydrate person and have cut down on the carbs but don’t know what to eat instead. I do feel with the lack of exercise that I have in my day that I also should be concentrating on exercise while at home. I have not achieved any progress so far and need good advice.
posted a reply in previous post if thats ok wendy?
i was talking about the people hiding not the regulars jean, not meant to offend anyone though.
Hi there Wendy, welcome aboard!! You have made the first step and it has to be a step in the right direction. We are all in the same boat here, luckily we have Captain McKibbin on board!!
The one thing I have found keeps me on the straight and narrow is planning meals in advance and making sure I have the food in the fridge. If you read my post for today I made mistake of not planning and ended up scoffing toast ‘cos it was easy and I was hungry and fancied it. Carbs are a big pull!!
Keri has loads of advice and ideas in previous posts, it’s worth taking a look.
Chris, WELL DONE!!!! How gratifying it is to see your hard work rewarded with a stone off. I guess Jean has a point though, and it’s not sour grapes, men DO lose weight faster. My friends’ husband lost a stone in 3wks and all he did was cut out sugar and crisps!! He told me last Saturday and I turned a nasty shade of green!! Jealousy is not attractive.
Goodnight all xx
keep posting chris, your comments are valuable!
