Okay, it’s day 14 and the big question must be “how many of you are still here? How many of you have still got the same enthusiasm as when you first started? How many of you have got even more enthusiasm and finally realise you can actually do this? How many of you have let quitting become part of your life, maybe so much that it’s become a nasty habit that you feel you can’t get out of?
These are the questions that play with our minds from time to time, and it’s day 14, so what’s your decision? Are you getting onboard fully with the programme or are you looking for a trendy quick fix that never works long term? Are you looking down disappointed with yourself that you didn’t reach your potential again and threw in the towel, or do you have that deep glow about you know knowing you are achieving great things in just two weeks, and another 70 days of this will create real life-lasting change in your bodies, your minds and create the best version of you that you could possible imagine!!
The number of unique visitor’s to the site is still climbing well so i’m going to assume that the audience and it’s participant’s are growing, rather than fading way! Fact’s are fact’s and more of you are joining so a big thank you on that!
Weeek three of this programme brings it own challenges, we’re pretty much out of january, and into february and you can tell because the night’s are getting lighter, and in 7-8 weeks time, we are going to be in spring! This is the time when you should really be receiving complements on your efforts, picking clothes you never thought possible again, having a much brighter outlook on your life than ever before, that time is only 7-8 weeks away as long as you buckle down right now and really make this thing happen.
Remember, i keep telling you it’s the journey and not necessarily the destination that’s moreΒ valuable. You are learning how to take care of your body, pushing your body to new heights and level of health and fitness, your mind is getting stronger because its constantly being tested because of the difficult decisions you face each day, such as today.
Of course you’re going to get knocked down a few times, that’s life and that may well be happening to you right now in this challenge. The true test of your character though will be if you decide to get up again, or do you lie on the floor giving up? This challenge is all about tests of character, and if you stick it out, not only will you look and feel 100 times better, you will come out a better and stronger person too for the experience!

Hi Ke, well I’m still here and unfortunately I have to report NO WEIGHT LOSS this week, I stayed the same, BUT I DIDN’T GAIN. I think I know why, its because I didn’t get in as many workouts as I should have, know I did 1 workout a day but when I am this weight I normally do two, my eating was good, perhaps I did have 1,300 cals some days if I am honest, so now I know that it was too much and I will cut back. I do want to achieve all of the above and I am determind to stick to it. I STAYED THE SAME, BUT I DIDN’T GAIN, will hope for better next week. Hope you guys have done better than me. but you did lose an awful lot up to now, more than anyone else and you have had a first class attitude no doubt! Now is your test of your character, and i think you will come thru with flying colours. Your character is being tested, and theres no going back from here. We all make promises, and we should all be ready to take it up a level from here. And watch those inches come down too, its not all about weight!
Ok Ke, I just measured, and that is the same to. But I think am still on track, 2lbs a week I said I would be happy with, and I did lose 7 last week. As you said evenings are getting lighter, we will be able to do more, am looking forward to it.
analyse what you do every week and ask yourself did you do well, or could you have done a little better. You know you like lighter nights, so use them to your advantage, another way of looking at it is you’re up to the end of the 4th week in progress (you have lost 7 pounds), and your target was 8 pounds after week 4? So excellent all round and have confidence in yourself.
Cyril lost 4 inches off his waist, and didnt give himself much credit? You guys are doing fantastic and you have my full support. Have a blinder this week!
well stuck to my same old food in take apart from some chocolate i had earlier!!!!!!!!! but no chips at all,all week?no workout at all today made myself have a spell to be honest cos my heel’s been giving me jip all bloody week.Was swollen today to???so i’ve been on the frozen peas has helped a little but not much!!!!!!never mind the track will still be calling to me in the morning you bet…..:-) must admit it did kill me today not doing any workouts π hoping to try some swimming some time this week in the afternoon i hope when its quiter i hope….;-)
You go 4 it Cyril, I wish I could swim, really do, have had lessons, I went with my sister some years ago after she had her first stroke, they advised her to take up swimming, 24 lessons later and we still could not swim, she has had several more since and cant use her arm or leg, and I wont go on my own, anyway would have to b a lot smaller than this. I have done a cycle this morning, 54 mins, it was very muddy and I was covered, no worries. Will do an indoor workout later and a 30 min walk. Your right Ke, did look at last weeks workouts, could have done more and could have done better, no excuses. Will post later when I have done it. Jeanx
good start you got this week Jeany π had a ride this morning in the bloody snow with ice under it!!!!!!!!!!!! very warm going up freezing coming back in the snow,hail rain and some sort of icy rain!!!!! not nice.Cant wait till the weather breaks.Will be a change going cycle in the warm and dry weather.Took me an 1hr 20 mins today to do it about 20/30mins more cos of the ice.Legs were really burning when i got back and most of today to……..

Just gave the dog part of my jacket potato, cause I thought it was too big, he also had 1 slice of sunflower and seseme seed bread, I didnt need it. Goin to have more control this week, think I was a bit lax last week, cos I lost 7lb, came back and bit me on my big fat arse.

I see your having RICE Cyril, I am afraid to go there, I know I will OD “over dose” took Jasmine over the beach yesterday morning with the dog and my hubby, she was running along and I could just about keep up with her, and she is only 3, what does that tell you, still was better than my hubby. She turned around and said “com on grampa, keep up” told him he needs to lose weight too. Hope your week is brill u guys. Jeanx

π no mun, i was asking about what i should do to warm up and warm down with the workouts i’m doing sorry Ker ie how long should they be done and what could i do lol,lol,lol.
cos at the moment i’m doing nothing and everyone i speak to tels me i should but i dont know what to do π
on your bike ride, you dont need much of warm up, just cycle gently for 10 mins or so before really going for it, on the way back after your ride, then you can stretch, i will be posting photos online of stretching soon, but you can stretch your neck from side to side, up and down slowly, then your shoulders by bringing arm across your body and placing other hand on your shoulder, roll your hips in circular motion, back and forth, the thigh stretch as mentioned, do some calf raises on a step to stretch your calves and see how you get on with that?
