How many of you now can’t eat so much chocolate or drink so much alcohol if you have already done well with your fitness plan and got to where you want to be?

This is what usually happens when you change your diet for the long term, and make exercise a very normal part of your life.

Other comments I get are that the once fantastic tasting sugary foods are now making you sick, because all that sugar is now becoming a sugar overload, and your body responds in a not very good way, in fact all that extra sugar as a one off will most likely make you feel sick and very low in energy usually an hour after consuming it.

If excess refined sugary foods have become a part of daily life for you, then you are at high risk of developing diabetes at some stage, and just ask anyone who now has diabetes what an uncomfortable existence that is!

Foods were meant to be sampled in their natural state, so whenever you can do this will be to your significant advantage.

We are now coming up to easter bank holiday, which means from now until Monday offers a significant window of making a pig of themselves for most people. Some people actually will go out and consume as much sugar and refined as possible, and then bemoan next Tuesday on how lethargic they are feeling, and how they have to get that weight off!!

Then you have two bank holidays next week so what do  most people do? They write off the next week again and overdo AGAIN!!!

This is of course a perfect example of a vicious circle, and these can be very hard to recover from. The monumental effort to get going again can seem exactly that….MONUMENTAL!!! These types of efforts can’t happen all the time, so the long and steady route is the way to go….FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE! I MEAN!!!

Tried and tested is the way to go and make your life far more stable in health and fitness terms!!!!
