Linking your workout to everything you do in your life will give it far more meaning.

You skip your workout, you skip energy creation.

You skip your workout, then your get up and go falls to the floor, and you are left making excuses why you aren’t doing the meaningful things you need to do in life.

You haven’t time to train? Then you have no time to sort your head out too. You have no time to get your mind in positive territory, into a positive environment and no time to get fired up to do anything worthwhile.

Too tired? Then get to bed earlier instead of finding out who’s been having an affair in the latest soap opera/trash TV that’s presenting itself as “entertainment”.

If life is easy for you then fair enough, but for most people its not and you are constantly challenged to be at your best most days.

If you are in good health, fit and strong then your attitude is usually completely different than to someone who has poor health, no energy and who constantly resides in a negative environment.

What’s it to be today? One of action and getting stuff done or one of hiding behind the settee and hoping life “Sorts itself out” by doing nothing?

Thursday, 6th February

We had a lady apologising because she has been with us at least 2 hours this morning, maybe more. Not ALL of it was training maybe, she had many deep conversations but here’s my view.

We love to see all of you, it is a REAL pleasure. We train hard, we are very serious in fact about training, BUT warm conversations are very important to us.

They are part of our social fabric, in a time when people don’t know each other on the same street, we are thriving in the communication and getting to know each other process.

A problem shared is a problem halved, and you can stay as long as you as you want, we have great people and having outstanding people being nice to each other is a joy to see, hear and enjoy.

It’s friday tomorrow, and its usually a huge social seen I’ve been told once or twice!!! Be there!!

Just to let you know though that the new programme is firing on all cylinders and you’re going to work HARDER than you’ve ever done before!!

Thursday, 6th February

The easiest thing you can do today is do the same stuff that you have always done. Do the things that you know, eat the same stuff and do what you are comfortable with doing.

That will always produce the same result, but what happens if you aren’t happy with the results you are getting.

Change needs to happen, and change requires a state of mind change.

We will often tell our kids that they need to do things a different way, or work harder if they want to achieve or get great things, but we often ignore that advice for ourselves.

I know the new programme has made you uncomfortable, has tested you in new ways, and at times, it seems as if some exercises are a hurdle too far.

That is the beauty of the change in the first place. It forces you to focus, to master new things, but ultimately this process will produce different and much BETTER results for you.

The bigger the challenge, then the bigger the payoff and the more positive outcome you will receive. Knuckle down, show up, there is no such thing as a wasted session.

Tuesday, 4th February

URGENT WARNING.

For all of those who are not making your sessions right now AND LOST BELIEF in yourself. If you have been with us any length of time, you will have had some success if you showed up regularly.

Just think of this though. The people who WANT you to fail are THRILLED you’re not making your workouts, they are thrilled you have given up on yourself, and they are thrilled you are not making any progress, and slipping back quickly.

You have proved them right, they said you wouldn’t last and you have given in, DESPITE your enormous ability, and the great belief we have at the gym IN YOU!

The pride you had at doing great things has disappeared because you have chosen the settee and elaborate excuses not to train with us.

We are indeed the HARD WAY but the only way that succeeds, we have TOO MANY results to prove that.

Are you really going to live a life when you never challenge yourself?

Are you really going to live a life where you don’t want to make yourself proud and your kids anymore by your fantastic efforts?

Are you really going to tell yourself that you’re too old, too overweight, too tired, your heads not in the game, you have zero willpower, you have no motivation etc when that’s proven to be nonsense?

The worst thing you can do is give up on yourself and that “better days” are indeed beyond you.

There are many who would swap places with you in hospitals all the way around the country to have one more chance at being well and healthy.

You DO have it in you to do great things, to be healthy and to be PROUD of yourself.

You still have a choice, and quitting should never be anywhere near your conversation.

You either make the haters in your life happy that you are a quitter, or you prove everyone wrong one more time.

I know what feels better.
