What really keeps you young?
You are young if you still look forward to things in life, you are excited about your future and you still have big dreams and aspirations, and you keep having a go no matter what even if things don’t always go your way.
You surround yourself with positive people who want to get the most out of their life, and those who encourage you to keep going , keep getting stronger, as it’s so valuable in anti-ageing and to keep feeling better.
You move your body out of choice every day, you get fresh air, and you are grateful for your health and everything around you-YOU ARE YOUNG no matter what your “numerical age”.
You are OLD if you think your “best days” are behind you (much more people say this than you think), you complain and moan about “life used to be better” years ago, you complain you have nothing to look forward to and how life has passed you by, and you gravitate towards people who feel the same.
You admire those who are more active even when they are much older than you, but you write yourself off (often without real evidence) saying “I could never do that”, and continue a life of eating poorly and moving very little, which only invites more pain into your body.
Being young versus being “old” often has little to do with numerical age in adulthood, it has much more to do with attitude, lifestyle habits and the company we keep either lifting us up or dragging us down.
