If you are outraged, angry, furious about a situation, then we have all reacted with haste in the past and often regretted our words or actions or both. Controlling our own mind is sometimes the hardest thing, and when you add on outside influences, who haven’t had our best interests at heart, it soon becomes even harder.

I know most of you have experienced the “what the heck are you going to the gym for?”, “you are fit enough, “please don’t lose any more weight you will look ‘ill’ otherwise”, “you’re too old to exercise”, “the gym has made you less ‘fun’”, are all statements you have been familiar with despite them being lies and not true, and the words of people who don’t exercise themselves and are intent on others’ not showing them up.

Exercising isn’t some kind of “leap of faith”, it’s strongly based in medical science which overwhelmingly backs it for good health and for sound mind.

It’s tough to keep our own minds sometimes though even when we have overwhelming evidence what we are doing is absolutely right.

This is when our “circle of friends” has to be addressed. If you look hard enough, it’s the same old “friends” or “frenemies” who put us off doing everything beneficial or stop us taking advantage of big opportunities that come along in our lives.

When this keeps happening, it’s time to ditch them or at least give them a much wider birth and cut off any negative influence they may still have on you.

The influence of a small, tight but encouraging and positive influencing group of friends can never been overstated.

We have all been there and it will become one of the most powerful and positive things you can ever do to improve your life in every single area.
