Showing up

The message is loud and clear and based on silence and a ton of experience, and it’s consistent.

If you keep on showing up, you will get fitter, feel better no matter what your age, and WE ALL age, so keep on enjoying your trip along the way and turning back the clock on your “body age” every single week.

Emma Williams’ great class tonight-what I saw is that everyone has got older obviously as we all do, but their performances are ONLY getting better as they age so their body age is only getting younger, their resilience is only getting strong and deeper, and literally is nothing beyond that class, we salute them and they exemplify hard work and effort-ALL of the time.

A true example of showing up is the true secret.

The best trainers are the ones who hit the fundamentals every time, and knuckle down accepting you have to work hard with no drama.

If you switch from one thing to the other, the latest craze this week, the latest fad diet the next week, it’s the equivalent of trying to be an astronaut one week, a hairdresser the next week, a swimming coach the week after, and then open a coffee shop the week after that-IT’S NEVER GOING TO WORK because you are not prepared to knuckle down and work hard, stick at something through the good and bad times, and accept that it’s going to take time for you to get good at something.

Showing up shouldn’t be an “opinion,” something you fancy “now and again”, something you are easily talked out of by friends who don’t really want you to succeed, showing up is essential to have better health, essential to feel better and absolutely vital to get your mind in the right place after days sometimes where your tolerance to everything has been tested beyond your limits and you’re ready to explode.

Stay in a structure, keep yourself in a positive environment and most of all show SHOW up do the work and reap the benefits daily.
