In lockdown, it’s important not to miss the point of keeping active, and what that exactly brings into your life.

Loads of you are getting through our workouts, all of them are at a very high standard, and you are dragging yourselves to new levels of strength and endurance. There is an instant feel good positive hit from that every single time that’s INVALUABLE right now.

Of course it would be great if the gym was open, and hopefully it won’t be long but over the last 8 weeks, you have been put under conditions that have been testing again, and rising to the challenge and not hiding from it has been vital.

I’m not shouting directly at you, this time it’s through a screen but the point I’m making is just as strong. It’s truly up to you whether you train or not, but the reality is that you use circumstances FOR YOU or to work against you. Personal responsibility gets you where you need to be in life, and we all need to take ownership of the decisions we make.

Remember when you sign up for our workouts like most of you have, you signed up to work at your limits and EXPAND your limits. You have made a choice to get better and feel better, you haven’t blamed any limitations you could have thought of, and how life was unfair. Most of you have excelled in lockdown, making a bad situation into one of OPPORTUNITY.

However lockdown affects you, and not much of it is good, use the solitude of the time you get to do our workouts as YOUR time, because unless you prioritise your recovery of energy/getting rid of stress time, you won’t be as strong for all those closest to you either, and many of them will be directly relying on you to show leadership and strength.
