If you are in control of your food, then thats fantastic and you should be proud of your appearance and performance lately.
If you’re not, then you need to back to where you were when you first started.
Most of us remember that feeling when we finally made the plunge to eating healthy the rest of our lives. It was intimmidating at first, but over time it became easier as the weeks went by, and even easier again when we started showing some really good results!!!
So if you are at a halfway house right now, by that i mean sometimes eating healthy and sometimes eating badly, then you need to go back to the start to enable you to move forward!
When you go to the diet section on the right hand side, there is a repetitive but valid theme on there. It goes on all the time about the importance of having a healthy breakfast and gives you many examples. A doctor would back this up.
It encourages you to graze and not gulp huge amounts of food down in one go, this means it is better to have smaller meals and snacks but regular and often to sustain energy and kickstart your metabolism, this is a proven way for fat loss and lean muscle retention. Your doctor would encourage this too.
The meal ideas on there are packed with variety, and all the foods are nutritious and are going to heavily contribute to you being in outstanding health! A nutritionist would tell you the exact same.
Water is vital to life, as well as good health, how many of you have forgotten that? Did you know its also a contributory factor to fat loss? Did you know its going to be better than some much-vaunted face creams for your skin’s appearance? I haven’t got another hour to write down all the extra benefits but you should be getting the idea by now!
Bottom line is the basics ARE the bottom line!!!! Face facts and go back to the start and remember how well you used to eat!!!

Hi Keri, hope all is well with the family. Nicola must have been struggling in the hot weather, I feel for her. Well Keri needless to say that my knee is so very painful, went to the caravan last Sunday and came home Wednesday to have the children yesterday. There is a 7 month waiting list to be seen by the Surgeon, but my doctor has sent another letter to try and expediate my referral. I am going to ask my doctor about Cotizone injections I have a friend who has had them in both knees and she is almost pain free and has a lot more movement. It lasts for up to 3 months, she is waiting for 2 knee replacements. What do you think Keri? I know that it is not the type of treatment that you can have all the time but if I could have it on 2 occasions, thats 6 months and I may be able to do something in the Gym. All I am doing now is walking, while I was in the van I was walking every morning for 45 mins, then icing it for the rest of the day along with pain killers and anti inflams. FRUSTRATING isnt the word. Back down van Sunday when Jasmine goes home, doin alot of puzzles and reading alot of books. Hi Debs, pleased to hear your still at it, what do you think of the Airclimber System, the instructor on the DVD makes it look so easy, havent really used mine as my knee is a problem. Keep up the good work, I am envious.
I would take advice from a senior doctor but i do know that you are only advised to have 2 cortisone injections for a lifetime no matter what anyone tells u.
Footballers took them since the 70’s and have suffered big time when they retired at just 35. Some became cripples.
My view is to stay away from them, but two shots is advisable as a maximum, and that’s over a lifetime as stated
Ok thanx Keri 4 ur input, appreciated. If that is the case then I have already had over the limit 4 other injuries years ago. Know u are right and that they are frowned upon, and are not a long term solution, I know that. Am seeing Dr Hughes Thursday 11.10, will take his advice. Not alot I can do about it, just putting it in prospective, could be alot worse, it will get better. Have a good one.
