Most people only change when they act on good advice to get active again. If you think about change too much, you won’t do it.

I’ve seen many people have advice they need to change but never act on it no matter how much strong evidence they are given. They would rather ask one, two, three other like minded people looking for anyone to agree that their current lifestyle is indeed the best thing, and that change is not necessary after all and the status quo should remain.

Until you START exercising, you won’t truly believe exercise is good for you because you won’t feel the benefits until you start working out regularly.

Once you start, you will be automatically reprogramming your brain to realise that moving more helps you feel better mentally as well as physically. You will realise the days you don’t exercise, you won’t feel so good.

It’s much easier to stay in an exercise programme where you feel the benefits every day, rather than starting an exercise programme after many years being inactive.

The power comes from ACTING on your intentions of being healthy again, and THEN you will feel the benefits. Putting it off to “another day, another week, another month, another year” will mean you never get started and you will never see the benefits.

The power in starting a new healthy habit is immense, that first step is vital, don’t keep talking yourself out of being healthy, mentally and physically.
