As we get older, we appreciate good health a lot better.
When we are 21 we can shake most things off, lack of sleep, putting toxic things into our bodies and putting off the stuff we need to do until “tomorrow”.
Fast forward 20 years and more and we value sleep more, we need more of it end of story, and our bodies take longer to heal, so we naturally go to bed earlier to enable us to perform better the next day, as that becomes a huge priority as we usually have a ton of responsibilities in our lives too, so we HAVE to make it happen.
We eat a lot better not only because of the “middle ages spread”, it’s again because we value great energy levels as we age, and the toxic stuff we used to put into our bodies will have added up often ending up in negative consequences for our lives in all sorts of ways.
When we have to pay the bills, there’s no “tomorrow” anymore and we must get stuff right now, today. Immediately-end of story.
We can”t “cheat” to get good health either, we got to put the work in, we have to learn to eat and cook from scratch and we have to get to bed earlier to make sure our body heals, recovers quicker and we are ready to approach life the next day with great enthusiasm, urgency and with great enjoyment, because a life with zero energy and poor and inconsistent health only leads to bad moods, unhappiness and an inability to live life to the full ‘because we don’t feel like it anymore”!!!
Good healthy routines and habits make us healthier, give us all the choices we want in life and make sure nothing holds us back.
