If you are feeling more tired again today, it’s natural, because warm weather depletes our energy and desire to do anything ,especially when you are not used to it. Monday and tuesday were particularly warm, and we were not used to it, our reaction to it is to be expected.
When it’s freezing outside in January, it’s natural to want to slow down, and like many of our animal cousins who hibernate, we could easily be excused for slowing down and ‘hiding”, and show sloth like behaviour.
When it rains, its natural to seek shelter, to sit it out and wait till it passes, just like we used to do in our caveman days.
The problem is that these conditions do happen and that’s our environment, not many days are ever “perfect”.
Rather than hiding away, it’s important we keep going, striving to do what we need to do exercise, just ADAPT to out conditions and react accordingly.
Nobody will ever have a go at you doing less in hot weather, in fact it’s the best way to go.
If it’s wet, cold, dark, foggy, that’s no problem because our routines will either make us or break us. We should exercise primarily not because we have to, but because we want to keep feeling better, we don’t want to get pain in our bodies, and exercise should be part of our daily lives, a lot of times we won’t want to do it, but we know afterwards, we WILL ALWAYS feel better and energise ourselves for entirety of the rest of our day.
The weather is always a consideration, but it should never stop us moving completely, the side effects of that decision will only have negative ramifications on our lives in all sorts of way. Keep moving, stay in the groove because it’s a lot harder starting again after a break, than just keeping going and staying in the flow..
