Launching a new programme once a month can be very stressful. There’s immense pressure to teach it and get everyone to understand it in a short time period. We thank so many of you doing so well at it and we are only in day two of it.
I rely on everyone ready to learn, to come in with a good attitude and be ready to test themselves.
Our culture at the gym should welcome everyone, but it also dictates everyone needs to play within the rules, however laid back we seem at times.
I can NEVER be in two places at once, and this is why we rely on personal trust, I may have to deal with several individuals with different needs inside, so I expect you to do your best when you are outside, as I would have fully explained what is required of you, this is where you take personal responsibility and do your best when you are outside, come back in and embrace the next challenge waiting for you..
It’s always about respect, appreciating we are all different and everyone deserves the same attention no if’s or but’s, I’ve never been so serious about enforcing our values and culture.
The first week is about embracing a lot of new movements and exercises.
By the second week we expect you to progress well from your initial efforts.
Week three means really getting stuck in, lifting more each exercises, going faster through a lot of the movement challenges and general enjoying this huge challenge.
Week four means you have come a long way since week one, you have surprised yourself, and are excited by the progress you have achieved. You feel much better physically and mentally because of the big challenges you have constantly overcome, however tough they seem right now in week one.
Showing up regularly means the difference between high performance constantly, or if you show up now and then, you will never get into it as you will never really learn the exercises.
