Friday, 28th February

Thank you for an outstanding morning and I appreciate all your positive views on the new fresher, very sunny colour at the gym too. We always want to be a haven where you can walk in and automatically feel better.

A pace where you can tell people the truth, have a great chat with everybody and lay everything down exactly as it is. No holding back, just be yourself.

We have nailed the new programme this week, and every single one of you have given everything to the new efforts and adaption required.

I give you all enormous praise and admiration, and loving the relentless sense of humour that you are NEVER afraid to show!!!

We are very serious about training, but the odd bit of comedy is a part of our atmosphere after alll.

Every time you got knocked down, you will be tested, sometimes severely tested. Sometimes you get news that will throw you off your stride, unsettle you and make you uncomfortable. I get mostly great news all week long, but to keep a smooth gym and business going so well, we often need to take swift action for the betterment of our cause, and get great things done no matter what, no excuses, no putting things off, we need to just do it full stop!!

You need a reliable, relentless strategy to get you back on your feet. You have no option BUT get your fire going and keep stoking it so it’s a roaring blaze as when you need it.

If you believe what you are doing is right, then you need to keep working at it, keep going the things that will make you successful. Use exercise and eating well as your unstoppable fuel to make YOU unstoppable in everything you try.

This has been a 100% fantastic week for all of you showing up and coming in with such a great attitude.

The ways we get the new programme done together is done with a strength of will to get it into place straight away, but it is a TEAM EFFORT.

We need to nail it as soon as we can, we need to bring the fight into the gym, we aren’t going to back down and you had better be ready to rumble. Results will be yours as long as you give us 200% every time.

Every day is a battle at the gym, but I’m ready to give it everything, and then a little bit more again. I know we can do great things if we both run at each other with a huge positive attitude and a deep willingness to get things done no matter what.

The gym is all fired up with adrenalin, enthusiasm and a willingness to get stuff done!!! Where are you at?!!!!

Wednesday, 26th February

Thanks to everyone who came in such good numbers today to try the new programme. I am always nervous about it going well, and you all buckled down from the start and got it done.

It’s deeply challenging, it has it’s fair share of protecting your body from future injuries, and it’s going to hit areas from different angles you may not have experienced before.

Most of you who came from other gyms used do the same programme all the time but I want to get the very best out of you. We don’t go through the motions, we want you to be uncomfortable at times and this is why you will get relentless results.

A lot of though, science and experience goes into all of our programmes, and this one hits every area extremely well. Not only will you look better from it, more importantly you are creating an extremely strong foundation right now and for the future.

Stay strong and look forward to seeing you all tomorrow!

JK Rowling never believed her Harry Potter books would sell even when they did, Jodie Foster and Meryl Streep never believed they deserved an Oscar even when their name was announced, Geraint Thomas never believed he deserved to win the Tour De France even when he did, I didn’t feel as if I deserved to have a business even when it had been many years, and in fact at least 70% of us never believe we deserve any success and definitely not sustained success.

It is called “imposter syndrome” and it stops many of us giving the sustained and relentless effort to go great things in anything we really want. We believe success and happiness of any kind is for “other people”.

We see others giving the image of being and acting successful, but we don’t believe we REALLY can do it. The well known people mentioned all had enormous self-doubt and people dismissing their efforts, but somehow they kept their desire and sense of purpose high, and relentlessly worked hard, despite endless knockdowns, failures, and being told to quit literally all the time they had no chance.

My car is now 13 years old and I don’t care, but I know if I invest that potential car payment into our gym, and serve and care for everyone that comes in, our gym will be incredible over time and caring and serving costs NOTHING. My definition of success is how many people we can help do amazing things and change their lives.

I don’t want to be a prisoner to a big loan and I want to sleep at night.

Success is not renting a new car every year, it’s not living in a flashy house and going on holidays so you can show off on social media and getting yourself into deep debt in the process, its about YOU being happy, you chasing down the the things that you’ve always wanted that are going to fulfil you, and make you so proud of your efforts.

Most people fail and keep failing at things, the vital part is to get up after every failure and having ANOTHER go, maybe refining your approach and see if that works. Realise though that you TRULY DESERVE success long term for your relentless efforts whatever YOUR version of success is.

Not believing you deserve happiness and success is common, and to break the mould you have to do something different you truly believe in and be true to yourself. You are unique, nobody can do it like you, you have your very own set of qualities and talents, and not giving a damn when anyone else tries to put you off is going to be vital in you keeping going, and being relentless in chasing down what you want.

STICK with your sense of purpose, cherish and never ever lose sight of your big dreams of doing something incredible with your life, and remember YOU TOTALLY deserve it.

Your attitude is one vital thing you can do something about. Life doesn’t always go your way, but your attitude will be the biggest single thing that changes things powerfully for you in life.

You can have plenty to moan about, but your attitude will get you out of many of the things you may constantly complain about.

Giving to others is a good start. Your presence at the gym is giving to others if you come in with a positive and happy state of mind. We have LOADS of you who do this non-stop and we are blessed to have you.

You don’t have to say there’s no weeds in our garden when there’s plenty of weeds in your life, but having the attitude that you’re going to do something about it changes your life..

When you are sunny everyone else is likely to react to your optimism too. We all appreciate and love positive influences around us.

When we are trying something new in our lives, we could do with some support in our corner. It may make the difference between us making a success of it or not. We all love support so your support can have a tremendous effect on someone’s life.

You won’t wake up positive every morning, but you must know your daily tactics for getting positivity into your life.

Workout hard and your state of mind changes quickly.

Eat good food and you have long lasting energy that will cut your irritability to a minimum.

Spend times with people who lift you up, not drag your down. This is absolutely CRITICAL and can never been overstated.

Attitude is huge and changes the way you see in life and what you get in life, there’s a new programme underway so make sure you come in every time with a “let’s get stuck in” attitude.
