Fri 1st May

A lack of energy, an inability to focus, feeling burned out, a lack of motivation a lack of sense of purpose will not be sorted out by some miracle piece of motivation coming out of the sky or some miracle “advice” by someone who wants to take money out of you regularly.

It comes down to your habits to get you out of your rut or slump.

Ask yourself what habits will give you more energy? Is it exercising regularly or sitting down all day “contemplating” a quick “fad” that will somehow do it?

What food habits will make you feel better and function better in life? More natural foods in your diet that is more balanced and drinking more water, or fried foods, more fizzy drinks or more simple sugars and more takeaways?

Does your lack of focus, energy and ambition levels come from a lack of sleep? Do you make sure you exercise more regularly because all the sleep science show us that exercise a key ingredient for good sleep or do you listen to someone who doesn’t know what they are talking about, just concerned with taking more money off you for questionable advice with no foundation in science?

All the things you want to improve on your life impact your life in a massive way. GOOD habits done every day give your life some order, give you a good sense of well-being and help you feel good without even thinking about it too much.

Bad habits make your energy levels all over the place, not exercising will bring more pain into your body and leave you with no energy and make you more irritable every day.

Show me someone with bad habits every day and we can usually see that person’s health and wellbeing over the long term.

Thursday 30th April

This time of the week I am usually pretty tired, especially it being new programme week, BUT given the level of your performances, I have received a LOT of energy of all the members in the building, and in our outside area too, it has already been a memorable week!!!

Standards are huge, and they have developed month on month, new programme after new programme, we have a fantastic group at the gym right now and a lot of very high level performers!!

The best thing is that you-the high performers-were the beginners once too, the ones often had a bad back/knee/shoulder etc when you started, that’s how far you have all come.

Keep putting the effort in and physically go to new heights, as well as only increasing yourself belief and self confidence along the way.
