Tues 24th Feb

If someone tells you that exercise isn’t worth it, and you have undeniable PROOF of the great things you are doing and have done through training, then question WHY they are giving you such terrible advice because they certainly haven’t got your best interest at heart.

Exercise science is proven beyond all reasonable doubt, both for your body AND mind, but you will always get some people saying it’s not much good for you and will be often trying to put you off.

Almost in every case, people will tell you this because you are showing them up, they haven’t got the guts to stick at it themselves, they haven’t got the courage to give the big efforts you constantly do, and it’s easier to “shout from the sidelines” because they haven’t got the get up and go to be on the “field of playing being in the game” like you do every day.

My father started the gym in 1957 and even some doctors said even then “don’t go to the gym, it will give you high blood pressure and a bad heart”, this would be laughed at these days when we know now that people go to the gym to  ONLY help high blood pressure and only strengthen their heart, along with doing everything else to do their bodies and minds a lot of good.

If you are doing well with exercise and eating good food and only feeling amazing, then I urge you to stick at it, to show up regular and only enhance your quality of life and the way you feel.

Whilst most people should encourage you, be thrilled with your progress and only applaud you on your positive changes you’ve made in your life, accept you will always have a few who won’t always be happy with you doing well, and always remember it’s not you, it’s really them and their own insecurities.

I’ve done this for a very long time, and the improvements individuals make not only in health but the big improvements in self-esteem, self-confidence and simply being happier in life have always been staggering for me.

Stick to it, keep making positive changes in your life, and ignore the doubters, the naysayers and the ones so not happy with their own lives than they only want you to fail to justify their own lack of effort and ambition

Don’t lose the fire in your belly to do great things because you have negative people around you who don’t really want you to make anything of yourself-keep being the inspiration to everyone around you and do your best to stay clear of all the toxic influences in your life who are selfish enough NOT to want the best for you.

Tues 24th Feb

In 1519 there was an explorer called Cortez and he landed in Mexico.

Once he pulled up on the beach, he was met by the locals who wanted to kill him and his crew. His crew asked him “what are we going to do now? They want to kill us!!!”.

Cortez pointed to his boats and instructed the crew to BURN the boats. The crew asked him if he was crazy?!!!

He replied “no, now we have NO option but to stay and and fight and WIN, there is NO going back”!!

With your training, you can’t be a little bit in, half in, you have to be ALL IN turning up regular, giving your best, eating right, sleeping right and have a great attitude!!!! No “HALF-IN”, you have to be ALL IN or you will never get the amazing results that can be rightfully yours!!!

We are not a half-in half basked results type of gym, commit to and trust the process and see it through.

The best teams don’t stay where they are, they don’t only “defend” the position they are in, they ATTACK new opportunities. Without an attack mindset, none of us ever get better.

Every programme we get I want you to attack it no matter how hard it is to start with, get better every time, lift a bit more when you can, do some more reps when you can, you must stay on the attack.

Defending your position means you have “settled” and waiting for things to only get worse for you, “doing what you can” is not the same as wanting to get better, defend is a defeatist attitude, you must aim for improvement more or less every workout, even a little bit each time adds up to a lot, and if you feed your body right too, then substantial improvements WILL happen over time.
