I’m excited!

Its friday and not only that, my energy levels are pretty amazing right now.

I am full of energy because i am actually getting a full night’s sleep now, two in one week is pretty good for me!! You can see how sleep affects your performance dont you think?

I am eating pretty much the same foods, so this is giving me excellent longer lasting energy levels. If you’re energy levels are down, is your food intake full of quality or is it full of fat and sugar?

My workouts have gone well this week, super intense at times but never boring. How are your workouts? I know debs is having a whale of a time and jean is looking to get the show back on the road, i think she can achieve great things again and reach previous personal bests. Its easy to doubt your ability when you havent trained well for a while, but when you get some sessions together, you may surprise yourself on how powerful you can be once again!

I havent drunk alcohol at all for 3 weeks and it feels fantastic. I can honestly say i am getting so much stronger every week and my energy levels are going through the roof. Do you feel the same without alcohol in your life? Do you feel the energy surge and whats it like to wake up on sunday morning now without a bad head? Pretty good i would imagine!! Your sundays will never be the same again.

So i approach this weekend in the best of spirits and in the best of energy states, its hard not to be excited and you should be the same if fundamentally, you are training at least 3 times per week and eating well 80% of the time, plus you’re sleeping well and drinking enough water, it should really be happening for you and if you’ve been reading this for a while, you should really  believe that you are capable of huge things if you really put your mind to it and ignore any negativity around you.

You will never get excited if you never sleep, you never train or move around much, you eat a poor diet and you drink too much alcohol. This is kind of repetitive at times but i really sincerely want you all to succeed, and the basics will never change and im always here for questions. No question is too stupid either as we’ve all been there once upon a time.

No ego’s on here, only help and experience so lets do it!!!

  1. Hiya Keri and the gang!!
You are right young man. I AM having a whale of a time. I feel pretty good and full of energy.
I came back from holiday several pounds heavier and felt an idiot. I had gone down the same old route of poor eating and alcohol, and it’s so easy to beat yourself up and stay in that downward spiral.
I made a decision that REALLY paid off. I FORGAVE myself!!!!
I didn’t look back and become full of self pity which would have been “rewarded” with more bad choices.
I went to Tesco and filled my trolley with the good stuff.
I planned my meals, made soups and pasta sauces from scratch, and guess what happened?

    I lost 6.2 pounds, that’s what!!

Went to Zumba and did a bit of walking and I can’t believe how much better I feel.
Aiming for 2 pounds this week.
    Watch this space !!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. nice one Deb 😉 my routine is all over the place at the moment…still under 18st mind about 17 10 at the moment.Been to 2 bloody Uni’s this week with my son and he wants to go to Aber next year long trek up the welsh coast that was.So only with Mondays, yesterday, today’s and tomorrows would have salvaged something of the week lol.But Ker bit worried now cos some woman has been banging on about how much Mercury there’s in tuna and you shouldn’t eat more than 3/4 tins a week….i’m eating more than that?????

  3. thats so encouraging debs and you have realised you had it all under control the whole time, because you didnt panic

  4. cyril, if you go to the uk food standards agency, the only worries on tuna are for pregnant women, and then the limit is 4 cans per week.

The fish you should eat sparingly due to mercury are shark, marlin and swordfish.

sardines, mackerel, salmon, pilchards, herring, trout etc are all good alternatives.

I heard those rumours too years back and still do now, but i eat fish most days and im still here.
check out http://www.food.gov.uk/multimedia/faq/mercuryfish/ to confirm the latest science

You wont get any more official than that!

  5. 40mins on the TG today at the high level and slow like you say Ker (hell of a lot harder mind) went for my yearly asthma check up.Had a row for not using my pump regular enough, 2 puffs in the morning 2 in the night and i’m only using 1puff night and day but only when i need to and a few days later if needed.had a right ticking off cos this aint something to be taken lightly.DUH i know that.
so when she weighted me 18st 12 last Sept and today 17st 12 (so my scales are a bit out) and instead of blowing in that tube thing 270ish sometimes a little higher i blew 490.so either this is the 1st time in my life i did it right or what i’m doing is helping the old tubes.
Oh yeah she was gob smacked too cheeky mare 🙂 🙂 🙂
