Day 69 Stand up for what you believe!

Eating a healthy way makes us hungry sometimes…………………..and in a good way.

When you try and deny yourself of food, you are doomed for failure. Eating every 3-4 hours is not only good for your energy levels, but will keep your metabolism going too. It’s all about how many calories your body burns 24 hours a day when it comes to optimum fat-loss. Our way of eating supports the healthy way of life fully.

Some diets will tell you that you can eat anything you want, every day!!!! All you have to do is cut down!

So, if i’m understanding this correctly, there is not much room for proper food and proper nutrients. One member on here previously told me that she could have her chicken nuggets, her chicken Mcsandwich etc, as long as she saved up her “points” until the end of the day, when she could “cheat” again!

If something seems to be good to be true, then it always is!

How many of you have been on that road to nowhere?

The other thing i hear is that many on these faddy diets make you stop going to the toilet so often,  your internal workings don’t work so well,  theydon’t seem to “work” as well anymore. The last thing i would want is have all that chemically-enhanced “meat” inside me wrecking my insides and staying there far longer than it should!

The biggest problem is that there is more and more information out there all the time, more and more people looking to make a “fast buck” out of you. The funny thing is that these people don’t last more than a year or two (at the most), as their principles (if they have any) don’t stack up. Anytime anyone promises you the earth telling you CAN eat whatever you want, they ought to be locked up where they would less dangerous!

I have been up since 5am this morning, two young children for you! Still managed a good coastal run with the dogs this morning, and had some scrambled eggs and smoked salmon, so i feel pretty fantastic writing this, with an abundance of energy ready to face a great saturday hopefully!

Have a great saturday and you can be sure i will be here every day standing up for what is right, no matter how many people try to sell you a lifestyle that is filled with false promises and bad science!

Standing up for what you believe is right will always be the right thing to do, and thanks for your support. We currently have people viewing from Sydney to the Ukraine, so thank you for all for viewing and supporting this message!

  1. Hey Ke, am back on line, sooo fed up with TALK TALK will have to change. You are so right Keri and I endorse your sentiments fully. Have been on every FAD DIET there is, and the only thing that works in healthy eating diet and exercise plan. And the only reason it stops working is because I have STRAYED from it, and I put the weight back on. It is taking me longer this time to lose it for whatever reason, am older now and we have a caravan we go to which can put me in the wrong frame of mind when I am there, eating out and drinking with friends, always gutted when I come back, anyway cant go so often for a while as we have 2 new additions to the family that need looking after, Jasmine’s bunnies, JOEY AND CE CE, HER BUNNIES BUT THEY ARE LIVING IN OUR GARDEN. When a diet tells you that you can EAT EVERYTHING YOU WANT EVERY DAY, ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS CUT DOWN, WHAT A LOAD OF TWADDLE, ITS NEVER GOIN TO HAPPEN, losing weight I mean, cos you will only KID yourself that you are cutting down, and if you have that kind of food in the house anyway, YOU WILL EAT IT. Have done a 40 min run today, had Jasmine all day yesterday, so only managed a 30 min one all day. the recipies are a good idea Ke, I will b trying them. Cant believe I have stayed on line this long. Have a great weekend all of you. 2 weeks left of the challenge, but a lot longer for me. Jean x

thank you so much for commenting again, your thoughts should be watched very closely by everyone on here, as you have been there and done it so many times its unbelievable, so your endorsement means an awful lot.

Great to hear from you, must have killed you being off the bike! Appreciated your comments too, and you have a whole spring/summer to look forward to so that means 7 months of amazing progress, im here all the way for you!

  5. Thanx Ke, appreciate that very much, it will prob take me longer than it used to but I will get there in the end. Cyril, how are you mate, going to start a love affair with my bike too, we used to b very passionate, but have cooled off lately, have got it into my head that I will burn more running, would only have to run for 30mins or so, would have to cycle 4 over an hour to get to the same par. Next few days are going to b AWFUL Cyril so dont think you will b biking, 2mo, mon and tues, would rather run in the rain than cycle, so guess what I will b doin for the next few days. Dont think I am babysitting 2nite, so I can get out first thing in the morning. Was thinking of changing to SKY, but cant get the offer that they have on at mo, not in my AREA. Am goin to have my favourite 2 nite, SPAG BOL, extra lean mince and my own sauce, so should b ok. No RUGBY TONITE, well not the 6 Nations anyway, pleased really, 2 B PUT OUT OF MY MISERY. ENJOY Jean x
