If you want to reach for something higher in life, perhaps something you don’t think that right now you are capable of getting, then it’s no good reaching for a chair and doing it the easy way because it won’t work.

It’s always better to stand on all of the accomplishments you make for along the way, so you keep getting higher and higher and within reach of all your ambitions.

For example, if you see someone who has already lost 10-15 inches around their waist, then it’s not realistic to lose much that in just one month.

You need to found out how that was possible in the first place, and what sort of mindset got that person there eventually.

What were the ups and downs that happened along the way? How did they pick themselves up when they felt a bit down from life’s continuous challenges?

How did they go through the multiple weight training sessions along the way, changing their body each and every time?

How did they get to push that prowler across the car park that many times, and how did it feel to complete their first ever one?

How did they stick to their eating plan, when perhaps at times they felt enormous pressure to come off it?

It’s clear to see that if you want to become extremely successful with your health and fitness programme, you need to make a series of steps along the way, accomplish meaningful challenges at regular intervals and dig deep all the way through, especially when you have moments of doubt and indecision, and times when even your friends may be trying to put you off from going all the way and you finally achieving what you thought impossible only a short time ago.

Aim high and keep thinking big.
