just to let you know, its been 4 days since I blogged you and I have dropped 6lbs. I did it sticking to 1100 cals a day, walking Bud twice a day, “HE THINKS HE’S DIED AND GONE TO HEAVEN” poor sod, with my pedometer. Hungry last night so went to bed at 8.45pm no cals left. up at 12.45 starving, had some toast. Think I will go onto a Slimming World programme, you can eat more, lots of FREE foods. Had not alcohol since sunday, and babysitting the weekend. Let you know how I get on.
that’s a great start but i would be very careful of 1100 calorie a day diets, they tend to be too restrictive and sooner or later, you’re going to blow it and binge, the way to go should be eating small and regular, with plenty of lean white meats and fish, whole grains, fruit and veg, this would be a sustainable way. You will lose weight with the plan you are on, just worried about the long term. I’m still being supportive but a slight modification may be in order, as you said being starving is not an option over the long term, especially with xmas coming up.
Good work on the exercise though and 6 pounds is to be applauded, plus the health benefits of course.
