Success is fleeting, and NEVER guaranteed to last.

Just when you think you are on top of the world, things get most dangerous. The temptation to stop working is very tempting, and the allure of not working super hard you think is a given because you have got this far already so you must be “invincible”?

Success will come to an ABRUPT HALT if you stop working.

Success will stop and you will fail if you stop doing what’s made you good at what you do.

You will become a shadow of your former self in a short period of time if you forget that “edge” that you have in your mind that made you climb so high.

Every start to the week must be made STRONG by your workout today. Your workout makes you sharper, makes your mind get going and fresh ambition starts to climb out of your sleepy body.

Most people are full of pride when success comes their way, but the ones who achieve long term success are the ones who are willing to put in the work when nobody else is looking.

They are willing to eat right when nobody is looking, they are willing to put their kit in their car ready for their workout when nobody is looking, they are pumping their mind full of positivity when nobody is looking, and they are fighting off the desire to slope off, take it easy and think life is easy.

Being successful over the long term takes you being OUTSTANDING every day by adopting tried and tested habits and strategies that give you outstanding energy, positivity and make you on a mission to get more of yourself and keep growing.

What’s your start to the week looking like?

Sunday, 28th April

Overcoming fear is your absolute path to happiness, creating a life that matters and getting what you really want.

You can do all the courses in the world, read all the books, talk big in Costs with your friends for hours, promise yourself “one day” it will happen, but unless you take action in the moment, then NOTHING is going to get done.

You may moan you don’t have the body, health or strong mind you really want, but you frequently miss your gym sessions, you let some of your “friends” beat you down by constantly doubting your efforts, and you don’t eat night. UNLESS you take immediate action on all of these, then nothing will change.

You need to start RUNNING AT your fears, instead of others’ dictating your mediocrity. Take control of your diary, make your workouts happen, shop for decent nutritious food that’s actually going to help you and dump the negative influences in your life right now. Don’t pretend there’s another way.

If you are sportsperson, and you come up against your nemesis or someone who really threatens your game, you must face them and go at them with everything, and if you keep going at them, you will mostly find confirmation that you ARE good enough and probably at least as good if not better than them, and this will inspire to work inspire you to work even harder and be even more relentless.

If you want to meet someone new, then its never going to happen in the house watching box sets, worrying about plot lines when you could be having your very own real life fulfilling and exciting plot. The very short term pain of rejection is nothing to the long term happiness of that other person saying “YES”!

All you ever wanted runs through the door called FEAR. I suggest you attack that door and smash it down EVERY TIME with relentless and unstoppable ACTION.

Get up early so you something before 9am that gives you great momentum. Eat well, exercise often so you have the energy and ambition back flooding through your veins agains and keep doing it, every day until you get what you want.

All down to you, and this time don’t sit on the sidelines. Get stuck in and smash down whatever’s scaring you because once you smash it once, then nothing else will have ANY fear for you!!!!

Saturday, 27th April

Sometimes life hits us hard and makes us stressed. We are thrown the wrong way, and we can’t concentrate on the rest of the day because that certain “something” is bothering us.

I see some people complaining about everything however small and trivial in the great scheme of things.

I see others who have genuine serious things, sometimes life-changing things to complain about, never complain at all.

Here’s the difference I see between the two.

The ones that complain all the time are always “stressed”.

Research shows that if you live with these stressed feelings and keep living them out, that energy slowly drains away from you and makes you live in a depleted state. You are not productive, you don’t get the most important things to you done, and the negativity rubs off on your family, friends and work colleagues all with a hugely negative effect.

I see at the gym too individuals who have everything going against them. They may have a life-changing operation, they may be laid up in bed for weeks, they may be in chair for weeks. The reason I still ask and care about these people is not only do I care, but I am fascinated by their thought process and how a great recovery happens (you will have so many at the gym by now).

How don’t they throw in towel? How don’t they just say that’s it and start eating and drinking to excess every day to cope with their pain? Why don’t they say “why me”?!!!

Their positivity through adversity is the key. They are under enormous pressure to be angry, dismissive, negative and bitter.

But somehow they battle through and fight and eventually show up. Then they show up relentlessly, they never wants praise for doing so because they are desperately fighting first of all to get partly and then fully mobile.

Then they fight to be their best again. Then all of these constant battles become engrained in their mind. They are never the same again but in a GREAT way. They become battle hardened, and ready for ANY war that will come into their lives in the future.

The main theme is gratitude. They are thankful for what’s in their life, all the positives, all the incredible blessings they have.

On Saturday mornings I take a “gratitude walk” or run even. I appreciate all the good things in my life, all the opportunities I have every day and for all the time I can spend with my family, the opportunity to be down the gym every day in the week and the sheer number of great individuals like YOU who entrust us to bring out the greatness within YOU.

See your world different, we are all dealt different cards, but how we deal with, and appreciate those cards ultimately makes ALL the difference.
