Tues 22nd April 2025

What fuels you is a lot different to what drains you, and what you give the most FOCUS to ultimately determines the way you feel and your outcomes in life.

Adopting a “the world is against me” and a negative approach to life goes something like is and will only DRAIN you of energy and hope-

“I never get any luck, it’s always someone else that gets the breaks, life is never easy for me, I couldn’t possibly do that, I can’t today I have something else on, the whole world revolves around ME and I don’t care about anyone else, getting ahead means being selfish after all, I will do it my way and I’m interested in doing things another way, if it doesn’t go perfect this time I quit ”.

Focusing on what FUELS you revolves around your reactions to adversity at times too, as well as everything going for you.

“I must work hard to create “luck in my life”, I can’t complain all the time I need to spend my time out-working people, lots of people have it worse than me so I’m going to use every gift and advantage I have, and I can inspire a lot of people and lift them up along the way too, I know that being consistent with my training and food is the only way to succeed and I know I must have patience to see it through, I am always learning and will keep refining my approach”.

The first example is one of negativity and a pessimistic approach destined to fail, the second one accepts none of us are perfect all the time and we are prepared to “fail” in order to succeed over the long term, being realistic with our expectations, being prepared to work hard and be prepared to learn and work WITH others instead of working against everyone along the way which never works.

Thurs 17th April

At any particular time, you will have a different situation going on.

Any of these sounds familiar?

A bad knee, a bad shoulder, a bad back, a bad foot, a lack of confidence, missed some weeks off training and struggling to get back into it, stress in work, stress at home, feeling stressed full stop-are ALL reasons NOT to drop your standards, because you can work around them.

Your standards are non negotiable, and there’s no need to drop them because some part of your life is not perfect at the moment. A struggling injury in your lower body can be a great reason to excel upper body and rehab your lower body injury properly, and vice versa.

Eating healthy and natural foods is a standard, there are zero reasons to eat poorly, and blow all of your hard work, which in turn tends to push you into a lower state of mind, a lower level of ambition and more of a “what’s the point attitude”.

Nothing has ever worked on poor mental health like working our regularly, eating well and resting better and rejuvenating yourself the RIGHT way.Whatever your situation, keep your standards high, let us help you through your challenges along the way, and keep turning up and every time you will be able to work your way through them every time!!!
