Tues 3rd Feb

FIGHTING negative thoughts out of your mind is your biggest challenge each day, because they will destroy from within if you let them flourish.

REMEMBER that positive thinking and your optimism is your competitive advantage.

I get occasional bad days as well as many good days, but the ability to remain optimistic during those time is hugely valuable to me and it took me a long time to develop that mindset, it doesn’t happen by magic though and it takes a long time to develop, but you must practice it and do your best daily and never give in to bad thoughts.

There is no value to you holding onto negativity, no future in you holding onto negativity, but when you have optimism you will likely take daily action to change your circumstances, and when you do that, only GOOD things are likely to come your way.

Tues Feb 3rd

The greatest freedom is living life on your terms.

The new programme gives us a lot of strength as usual, but also gives us a lot of new movement too.

If you move in any direction without pain, then you are in great shape.

Before that happens though, there will be plenty of times when you feel a weakness on one side, and these exercise help you re-balance your body, so both sides become equal in terms of performance and in everyday life.

The idea of changing the programmes once a month is to give us fresh challenges for our bodies and our minds. It’s how we respond to these challenges that will dictate our progress over this month.

Show up regularly and great progress always happens, yes we will be stiff over the first couple of sessions doing new things, but we will settle into it, and get to out-perform the programme showing how versatile, strong and flexible we can become.

Embrace new challenges every month and you will guarantee getting better so at the end of the year, you will again show massive improvements in every area of your life.

Monday 2nd Feb

Standards over feelings.

We all feel a certain way sometimes. We feel like doing this or that, but rather than always relying on our feelings, we should rely on our STANDARDS.

Our minimum standard should be working out a minimum of 3 times a week, getting fresh air every day, eating good healthy food at least 80% of the time and mixing regularly with positive uplifting people.

Our standard should be about winning each day, instead of suddenly feeling we can’t do it because it’s cool to not try that day, or it’s cool to eat rubbish that day or its cool to have a bottle of wine instead.

Human beings work best on routine and the higher those daily standards are, the healthier we are, the more energy we have and our mental health operates at a high level too.

Feelings matter, but good standards which are non-negotiable and good routines every day allow us to operate in a much happier and healthier state every day.

Monday Feb 2nd

Your health is not about always about a long term target as that can be overwhelming ,it’s often about doing your best each day, and then the next and then the next.

If you put enough good days In every week, then you will be having strong weeks in terms of your health, and those good weeks will become a habit.

Same with bad days, put enough of them together and your health goes downhill and all the associated risks of ill health, both physically and mentally start to add up.

Don’t let any days go down the pan, don’t write off any days or weeks become “forget about my health” weeks as they will sway momentum either day.

Stay on top of your health,  turn up for your workouts and quit making excuses to skip them,  and keep feeding yourself good food that only boosts your immune system, never settle for man made products full of chemicals and sugar to satisfy your hunger, because that food will become addictive too.

Monday is the perfect day to win to set you up for a great week!
