Raising your standards and going all the way is a must when you start our programme. The habits we recommend will literally transform your life in a very positive way.

If we don’t take charge of our lives, sometimes our lives take charge of us in a negative way, so we must make the most of our opportunities while we have them right now.

If we don’t take action soon then time drifts away from us, then we leave it another week, another month, another year, and before we know it, that time is gone and our great opportunities gone with it.

Actions always have consequences. Do good things for people and our bodies, and good things are likely to happen for you in all ways.

Personal accountability is vital. Keep the promises you made to yourself. Most of us forget this, not keeping to what we promised. We have all the information to us every day, yet many of us try a roundabout way of doing this.

It’s easy to think we can out-train a bad diet, many of us have tried to cheat the system of health at one time or another. When we buckle down to the fact that healthy food consumed regularly and pretty much most of the time actually works, then our whole life changes.

We all have weaknesses, and this is why we discuss them every day on here. It’s only by discussing what we do wrong, that we get the opportunity to do things the right way.

Your hopes, dreams and desires rely totally on you being healthy, energetic and positive, and practising the daily rituals to achieve this are absolutely vital.

Leave yourself no other option but doing your best every day, moving closer to your ultimate goals every day, and staying on a positive path no matter what life throws at you and tries to throw you off course.

Realise it’s all within you, all of you have to do is dig deep every day and keep making it happen!

Wednesday, 5th October

We all see the world differently. We all have our version of events and we all have different expectations out of life.

If we are unhappy with those views or the world as we see it, it’s pretty hard to change the world, but we can definitely change the way we see OUR world if WE change.

If our view of being healthy and fit is a short term and shallow approach of going on the latest fad diet, and going on some kamikaze exercise programme for a week or so, and hoping for the best, then there’s nothing anyone can do until you change your approach to getting healthy, and start thinking long term, however unfashionable it may be to you. YOU need to change first.

As you know, we have many, many members start with knee replacements, back surgery and after having hip replacements. After that trauma, you can see the world through two points of view.

You can either accept you won’t be able to walk properly or exercise again, or you can go through proper rehab and actively get stronger, and fight for your mobility again.

Those two versions of how the world looks are completely different. If you haven’t much mobility, then life becomes a smaller place and you are unlikely to enjoy the unbelievable joys that full mobility will bring into your life again.

If you have full or nearly full mobility back, then the world becomes huge again for you to sample, and create fresh new experiences in.

Most of us are taught as kids not to dream too big, not to do anything that rattles any cages, never do something that will cause “people to talk”, we are taught to fit into a tight criteria that usually keeps other people happy.

Being independent, following your own true path, reviving the ambitions you thought were dead and buried years ago, clearing the negative influences out of your life, will make YOU see the world differently and very likely lead to a whole new set of outcomes in your life that will be much more fulfilling and satisfying. This is the best way to change your world.

Wednesday, 28th September

What is your KEY habit that’s letting you down right now that you can and need to change for the better? Just think of one, you know that’s harming your progress, and let’s start today by replacing it with a stronger more positive habit.

As humans, most of us can’t handle massive change at one time, so we need to change one thing at a time and take plenty of time to re-enforce it. Then when we change it, the positive powerful effects spread through the rest of your day and life, and affect all areas in some way.

Key habit example-Showing up.

If you have become the type of exerciser who show up 3 times one week, then once the week after, then 4 times the week after that, then not at all the week after, the this would be a key habit to change and positively affect your life and help you become a LOT more successful.

So just concentrate on this and that’s it. Forget about everything else, just focus everything you have on getting to the gym, schedule in your gym sessions 3 time a week, NOTHING gets in the way. I REPEAT THIS IS IT, and nothing else!

This habit change will transform your life. From the showing up part, you know you will be on our programme immediately. You will get stronger and fitter again, that’s without a doubt. Then from that, you will start to feel more positive again. Then from that you will start WANTING to come to the gym because it makes you feel better and more positive, and not like it and get annoyed if you DON’T make it to the gym.

When you exercise regularly, you will naturally get to the stage of wanting to eat better because you won’t want to blow all that hard work in the gym.

So you can see from this one key habit of SHOWING UP, a lot of positive life-changing things have happened for you and can happen for you, all it took is changing one KEY HABIT, and the rest takes care to itself.

Don’t over-complicate things, don’t weigh up this and that, it all starts with changing one powerful habit and just concentrating on that, the results that follow will be long lasting and create very strong foundations for you in all areas of your life.

Friday, September 16th

People always talk about a “right time” to do things. This unfortunately involves waiting, sometimes so much waiting you never actually do it. Many people say i will wait until i get new training shoes, i will wait until my friend joins the gym with me, i will wait until i “get in the right frame of mind”, I will wait until the winter/spring/summer/autumn for whatever reason etc etc.

If you look at some of the greatest and most long lasting businesses over the last 100 years, MANY of them starting during recessions, when many people advised them to wait “until the dust settles” because it would be madness to do so.

Usually though, many businesses start because they are ready to start and share their product with the world. They are so busy “doing”, that the timing doesn’t really matter.

With your exercise programme or decision to eat healthy, it often starts “next week”, “next month” and usually not at all. The longer you put things off, the harder it becomes to do, this applies to anything.

The power you give yourself by deciding to get active right now will indeed empower you!

The power you will give yourself when going shopping you decide to put only healthy foods into your basket will signal the start of a new and healthy lifestyle for you, and immediately things will change for the better.

Each and every day is a fresh opportunity for you to get better, but first you must stop the endless conversations about how something in the future will happen “one day”. That “one day” doesn’t usually happen.

Once you decide to take action, then you will be proud of yourself. Once you have taken action once, then you are likely to take action on a regular basis. This process of finally get your behind in gear and doing something positive every day will eventually create real transformation in your life, and you will no doubt wonder why you didn’t start earlier.

The choice is yours, stop doing the “what if’s”, “i’m too old, too overweight, too unfit” conversation. Everyone has the same opportunity, take yours right now.

Tuesday, 30th August

Many of us enjoy improvements in our health and fitness and every area of our lives, or at least the thought of it. Many of us though fear becoming “too successful” and get scared once good things start to happen.

Some of us will “self sabotage” our progress if we start doing too well. If this sounds like madness to you, it’s actually true that i have seen many times over the years.

Many of us, if we start exercising, eating well and start being more positive improve strongly physically and start to improve in all areas of our lives. We have undeniably proof that if you stay consistent with exercise and healthy eating, then great things are possible.

Then the “i don’t deserve it” feelings start to enter our minds. We have done well we tell ourselves, but the true big successes that we CAN achieve we are not worthy of. It also becomes easier to give in to those people who doubt us and write us off.

You can get these feelings when going for promotion for example, you can do the supervisor job well, you may have actually done it several times, but “you” do not deserve it somehow.

You may buy a new car, and feel really uncomfortable when doing it, especially if its a big step up, telling yourself that it’s nice but you somehow are not “worthy” of it.

These feelings are common in changing your health for the better, some of you may have incredible photos and transformations, but you may feel that enough is enough, and you don’t deserve anymore, and to feel and look that amazing somehow, just because it’s too uncomfortable and you may give in who tried to put you off along.

Self-sabotage means you may turn back to over-eating, not exercising, feeling negative again just because the success you have had makes you feel so far out of your comfort zone.

Beware self-sabotage, embrace the success you are having and have had, and realise you totally deserve the great things that have come into your life, and you’re every bit as good as everyone else who has worked as hard as you have, and now it’s time for you to enjoy the rewards.

Everyone experiences doubt and indecision, it’s how you handle those crucial moments that dictate your ultimate destiny. We are actually more powerful than we ever thought and sometimes that’s what scares us most. We are often more scared of the light than the darkness as the old saying goes.
