Imagine knowing a story, how it starts, the inevitable tough part in the middle, and the happy ending. You watch another person go through all the highs and lows.
The person at the start of each story naturally can’t see the tough times to come, or if they will end, certainly can’t see the happy ending, and many times is thinking of giving up because they don’t quite see the big picture.
Often people try so much and fail through bad advice that they end up giving up, because they believe that there’s no other way.
They believe “their” life didn’t work out after all, they drew bad cards, and never knew that their response could overcome anything if they got a true plan that was tried and tested to change them, and their life.
Your story is just as important as anyone’s else at the gym.
Great outcomes are possible for you, and come to be entirely probable if you live your plan every day, live with energy and above all else, you commit to take action no matter what.
Whatever your story, whether your in the middle of your toughest times, at the very beginning or celebrating your own victory lap, you have to BELIEVE entirely that you can do this, you can live a great story worth telling at the end of your days, and you can be proud of everything you do each and every day.

The 2 minute rule.
If you are trying to re-enforce a new habit, if you are trying to escape stress, if you are trying to feel better full stop, I URGE you to come to the gym for 2 MINUTES, especially if you feel as if you cannot do it, you are somewhat overwhelmed by the feeling.
A 2 minute commitment is something anyone can achieve. The reason I tell you this because the HARDEST thing you can do is actually LEAVE your house, get into your car/walk down and then approach the door, then WALK THROUGH IT.
Then all we need off you is 2 minutes at the gym, if you want to stay longer, that’s great, but I firmly believe you will feel 2000% better by walking through the door and talking to someone.
Don’t let 2 weeks off become 2 years, this is so common. Don’t endure 2 years of unhappiness and unsatisfactory outcomes in your life.
So it’s 2 whole minutes THREE times a week minimum no strings attached for those who struggle to make it. We want to help you so much in difficult times, and you know it change your life.

Your “body of work” ought to define you at the end of your days.
What you give out over one day matters, but nothing like over the long term, or especially over your life.
You give a lot to the gym for one week and you will have benefits. Give a lot to the gym over one year, and you will get massive benefits which change your life.
Then if you can give one year, then it’s likely you are capable of giving many years to your physical and emotional health. You have strong deep down habits that serve you so well without you even thinking about it.
Those of you who have given years to mastering your craft, seeing how far your body will go, how much your mind can imagine you can go, ought to think of it in a new perspective.
Unlike team sports, when your performance drops off and you eventually drop off the team (unless you are Diane Griffiths in her 52nd year on the team!), your gym efforts never ought to drop off.
From 30 to 70 years of age, your muscle and bone density can only drop off 5%, IF you training every week and keep strength training, and keep on pushing yourself.
40 is nowhere near old or should it affect your performance, I plan on getting more and more out of myself every day in my 50’s, we have plenty of members in their 50’s, 60s and 70’s who are at their all time high level of performance.
It all starts with keeping on building on your years of great service in the gym. Keep showing up and you WILL continually get better as you age. Your internal health will be incredible and you will be actively DICTATING and INFLUENCING YOUR HEALTH in a VERY POSITIVE WAY!!
