Kay Owen made a great comment that says it all on the kids class run by Jamie Hawkins earlier, and the same applies to Emma Williams and her class, and it touched a nerve with me too.
I quote-
“Jamie, what an amazing input you are having in these lives, they will always remember your dedication and encouragement! Brill xx”
This should be the goal of ANY coach and we are ALL about coaching at the gym, it’s the main thing we do and proud to do.
Good to great coaching by those who care deeply can and will change lives. It will shape futures, rescue people from ill health and transform them into outstanding health.
It will change mindsets, get rid of negative thinking and strongly encourage everyone you bump into to change their perspective of the world for the better.
I always have feedback from every class, every session and tonight everyone in Emma’s class thought the brand new stuff was not only testing, but something that delivered them all into a new realm of fulfilment from the class, and ultimately great results.
From a coaching perspective, we are always desperate to deliver great sessions, not many know the dedication that involves and the preparation that takes.
But the reason we never complain about it is because we love it, we love to put the work in, and we know the potential huge positive impact it can have on everyone’s lives that we are lucky enough to help.
Thank you
I was again a bit nervous coming back to the gym, not because it hasn’t been in great hands. After all, Ann Williams, Daniel Smith, Enfys Tannerand Emma Williams are incredible people and.i couldn’t wish for better people looking after the gym, the feedback has again been immense.
I was worried would the BBC get what they were looking for? I needed a great night without prior warning and we did it all off the cuff. THREE and a half hours of filming was to follow.
Just to let you know that the reporter Nick Hartley was deeply impressed with you all, and got a LOT more than he wanted. He said we were were UNIQUE as a gym, and has has worked in BBC Sport everywhere and current affairs for over 10 years.
It was raining and cold all evening, yet he had amazing shots of inside the gym, as well as the great Jamie Hawkins class outside. Massive thanks to Jamie and the parents who brought their children tonight, it was immense he said.
He planned for an hour or so but the fact he stayed 3 and a half says it all.
My few days away gave me time to think. Time away is always good for thinking time.
Our positive culture dictates that no dirty feet should ever walk through our minds as Gandi said. We are the red army of positivity and achievement, and we can overcome anything if we put our minds to it.
The filming tonight was all about us being normal everyday people and our thoughts on health but on everyday life, and the upcoming election. REAL people and REAL issues being discussed.
Just again, I wanted to let you know how proud I am of ALL of you creating something very special and most of all, I want you to keep doing your best and keep believing you can do great things every day.

You always have to overcome some negativity to do your best work.
Your best ideas are exciting, inspiring and passionate.
DO NOT let ANYONE disrupt that idea making process. The BBC arrive later wanting to do a film about our ideas, our passion and our excitement we bring every day to the gym. It is meant to bring hope to a lot of people around the country.
They want to know about everyday people and how we go about changing our world.
They want to know how you recover from pain of all kinds, how you get yourself moving again and how literally you change the way you see your world.
They want to see our future generation doing great things and how they are setting our community alight.
We have deep faith in what we do, not only to achieve great things together but to crush any negativity and doubt that may come our way.
Gandi once said “i will not anyone walk through my mind with their dirty feet” and neither should you. Nobody should be allowed to poison your positive thoughts, nobody should allow you to stop you reaching big targets, destroying your dreams even before you’ve had a go at them.
Today should be about a day of hope, achievement, telling the truth and letting people know there is another way.
See you later fully re-charged!!

Each new programme we start makes me full of nerves. Considering we deliver new programme every THREE weeks, I get through a lot of nervous energy.
Will it work? Will it be as liked as the last one? Will everyone be able to do it? Will it be fun? Will everyone understand the videos? What could we do better next time?
I know Jamie Hawkins goes through the same worries when she composes her programme for the kids class.
Children can be very demanding and they want the very best from you as they can be an audience who need great variety and entertainment, as well as a great workout.
TONIGHT, was one of her best ever classes tonight, never seen so many kids looking so happy during and afterwards getting their free fruit as usual kindly donated by manager of the Coop Nathan Evans. What an amazing part of the community this is.
Emma Williams tried something different last night and I know she has something completely different for the end of the week. These sessions take time, they take imagination whilst still making sure your safety and wellbeing are at the top of the list. If you want to be a great coach, you need to put your heart and soul into it and this is what these coaches give every time.
We love doing it for you time after time, and all we ask is you give 100% in return because NOTHING pleases us more than YOU getting incredible results, having a smile on your face and developing higher standards than you ever thought possible, at ANY age.
Thursday is coming up tomorrow, let’s make it another great one!!
