How much is keeping your spirits worth? What happens if your spirit is crushed?

If you give up on one thing, then its easy to give up on another thing and so on. What’s left if there is no challenge left for you?

If you could have a pill invented that would give you great lung capacity, a strong heart, a great immune system and an ultra-positive attitude, would you buy it?

Maybe not.

Although those things are great to acquire, taking a pill doesn’t do it. It would be like having an “honorary” degree of a university. It’s a great photo opportunity but you know you wouldn’t have worked for it, you wouldn’t have had to grind for it, you wouldn’t have had to make sacrifices to get it.

This is why your daily workouts are so worth it. YOU know how much you have put in, are continuing to put in despite any hardships you are going through right now, and you are suddenly realising that you are going to come out of this tunnel, stronger than ever before, more at peace with yourself than ever before, and a new dedication to live your life on better terms that absolutely work for you.

You are nothing without having your fighting spirit onboard, with you in your corner at all times, and it’s at times like these that your character is revealed.

It’s easy to watch TV all day and let life and opportunities dwindle by. Now is a great time to enhance your life, built an ultra-strong immune system by working out and eating well, and have that deep down satisfying feeling of knowing you have plenty of fight in you ready for anything.

26th March-importance of routines

State of mind and mental health has been a massive issue even before the current state of the world. The world is currently going through a reset in all sorts of ways.

The way you think right now can either heighten your anxiety and stress especially if you listen to the news constantly all day, or you can take a different approach.

Sticking to routines are vital. I’m used to training a lot of people face to face every day, love the banter, atmosphere and huge variety of personalties.

Switching over to 100% online training was technically easy because our online service has been working great for years, we are just serving a much bigger number now, the time spent online has become huge in terms of messages and interaction with members, shooting new content all the time, and keeping the standards so high. 14 hour days are not rare at all.

My kids have to be schooled every day as normal from home, my wife is a qualified teacher so that helps, but the demands are still great.

Routine is everything. I start working online motivating members, making sure I eat right, drink enough water, editing film, coming up with new ideas and acting on constant requests, listening to everyone and their state of minds is so important in strange times like these.

Many are struggling, it’s our job to breathe fire into their bellies again and get them to keep taking action and feel better mentally as well as physically.

We do a proper family workout at 9am, hit it hard, have some fun and back on it from 10am.

This normally continues like a normal school day, and afternoons with the great weather have been spent with the kids and Nicola digging our vegetable patch, and creating a whole host of fruit and veg we are intent on growing ourselves. Everyone is fully involved, learning valuable things and have discovered a fresh appreciation for our land and surroundings.

Being more self-sufficient is something I know lots of you are doing.

We play baseball/rounders at 4.30pm every day and I have find these time great family connecting times too. We are all getting back to basics, living our lives in many ways like the olden times when I was growing up.

Most of us may notice we don’t need several trips abroad every year if we want to save the planet, because these times make us aware of the fragility of earth and what we take for granted in our everyday life.

Your routine, your physical efforts, the positivity or negativity you let into your brain are absolutely vital to the way you feel right now.

March 25th

Do you see the negatives in everything and everyone or the best in everything or everyone?
Some kids will have 6 A grades and the parents will often focus on the 3 C’s.
Some people will give you a ton of praise for overcoming numerous physical and mental challenges, but you may focus you’re still not able to run a 10k in under 40 minutes.
Negative self-talk is proven to set off decay within your body too, as well as your mind. What you tell yourself will usually become a reality.
Talking yourself down is guaranteed to self-sabotage your efforts at doing great things in the now and in the future, and stopping yourself being happy.
You being positive or negative will infect all those around you too for the worse or the better. You have a responsibility to allow those around you to think big, to get more out of life, to get them to believe that nothing is impossible, and to encourage them to have a go at whatever they want.
Start by taking the positives out of your day and recognising them as opportunities you are taking.
Give yourself credit, pat yourself on the back for doing good things daily, and cut off the negativity and noise thats going on in the world.
Listen to the news but only what you need to know.
Listen to the praise you get and be encouraged and use it as encouragement to try even harder, not just for the praise but all the happiness and fulfilment it will bring you.
Fill your mind with positive sources and environments, and watch how the way you view the world over time changes completely.
