State of mind and mental health has been a massive issue even before the current state of the world. The world is currently going through a reset in all sorts of ways.
The way you think right now can either heighten your anxiety and stress especially if you listen to the news constantly all day, or you can take a different approach.
Sticking to routines are vital. I’m used to training a lot of people face to face every day, love the banter, atmosphere and huge variety of personalties.
Switching over to 100% online training was technically easy because our online service has been working great for years, we are just serving a much bigger number now, the time spent online has become huge in terms of messages and interaction with members, shooting new content all the time, and keeping the standards so high. 14 hour days are not rare at all.
My kids have to be schooled every day as normal from home, my wife is a qualified teacher so that helps, but the demands are still great.
Routine is everything. I start working online motivating members, making sure I eat right, drink enough water, editing film, coming up with new ideas and acting on constant requests, listening to everyone and their state of minds is so important in strange times like these.
Many are struggling, it’s our job to breathe fire into their bellies again and get them to keep taking action and feel better mentally as well as physically.
We do a proper family workout at 9am, hit it hard, have some fun and back on it from 10am.
This normally continues like a normal school day, and afternoons with the great weather have been spent with the kids and Nicola digging our vegetable patch, and creating a whole host of fruit and veg we are intent on growing ourselves. Everyone is fully involved, learning valuable things and have discovered a fresh appreciation for our land and surroundings.
Being more self-sufficient is something I know lots of you are doing.
We play baseball/rounders at 4.30pm every day and I have find these time great family connecting times too. We are all getting back to basics, living our lives in many ways like the olden times when I was growing up.
Most of us may notice we don’t need several trips abroad every year if we want to save the planet, because these times make us aware of the fragility of earth and what we take for granted in our everyday life.
Your routine, your physical efforts, the positivity or negativity you let into your brain are absolutely vital to the way you feel right now.
