We all age but the problem begins when out attitude and outlook ages quickly too.

Around 10-20 years ago, the accepted pattern was be active in school, play some sport sometimes, maybe play sport after leaving for a few years if you are lucky, then retire and be classed as a “former player”.

Your attitude to exercise would be on wonderment in your teen years especially, some would be bogged down with injuries towards the end of your sports career, then when you were a “former player”, you were reduced to rose-tinted spectacles on “how things used to be” when you were active and playing.

So from your 30’s at best, you would face a lifetime of aches and pains, not really believing you could get previous levels of fitness back ever. Weight would come on, maybe arthritis in some cases, and many would be resigned to wishing back their mobility and freshness of youth.

Today is see a different reality, driven by those who never did ANY sport in school but are engaged by new realities of exercise and how it can transform your life.

Sharon Griffiths, and Lesley Daniel, a 40 and 50 something came to us (never having done much exercise), just wondering if they could somehow become more active because they were sick and tired of feeling the aches of pains that getting older brings.

Sharon was the one her friends thought wouldn’t last more than a week, yet she hasn’t missed a session in over 2 years. Totally physically and mentally transformed, Sharon is becoming an accomplished runner too, continually bringing her greatness within out so all can see.

Lesley is clearly one our fittest ladies, achieving too a great transformation, never misses a session and inspires all the 20 somethings to bring the greatness within them out. A leader who shows anything is possible.

Both these ladies realised the best was already within them, all they had to do is approach it positively and age suddenly became NO PROBLEM. In fact, they both are still advancing rapidly and i would put them against anyone in fitness terms anywhere!

The old model of accepting your past is behind you is well and truly DEAD.
