Thinking of not exercising today because you will go for a gentle walk later or tomorrow? That is not the same and it doesn’t count. Walking is wonderful but you need to do things in ADDITION to create real change for your body and mind.

We always talk about “exercise with purpose”, which means getting out of breath, getting your lungs working and demanding a little more out of yourself.

It can be 10 walks up a 30 yard steep hill. It can be a cycle ride taking in great scenery. It can be a weights session. You can use your bodyweight to create great things and get a real sweat on as you should know by now.

First thing on the weekend is the ideal time to get out there, get your heart rate up, your lungs blowing and oxygen into your body on a big scale. The walk later is great but surely you can manage that too? Use that great body you were given, stop giving up in yourself and rediscover what it was actually for!! It’s definitely NOT for sitting on the sofa all day thats for sure!

Take responsibility for your exercise, the time you spend thinking up new excuses NOT to do it, you could have done a workout in that time!!

Be a leader in your family, show everyone else the way and they WILL follow your example, whether now or sometime in the future. Be the person who creates positive change for yourself, encourages others to do the same and sets new higher standards each and every week. A

Actions speak a lot louder than words!!!

Thursday, 25th August

Taking responsibility for your actions, your efforts, your results, everything will make your health and fitness far more productive, drive your ambition higher and let you reach your desired outcome far quicker. You need to take ownership of what you do, don’t leave it to chance and absolutely recognise that all of this is totally within your power.

We will try and give you absolutely everything. We throw everything at you each and every day, desperate to get a great result out of you 100% of the time, and an amazing amount of you DO get that result every time.

Here’s a mindset change that will guarantee you great success in your physical and mind transformation and how to keep on improving.

Show up a minimum of 3 times a week. Treat your gym session as a doctor/dentist/solicitor appointment-you HAVE to go to get a positive results. Using excuses not to come are sometimes easier than not hitting the gym, but if you don’t show up then your outcome will NOT be a good one and you wont achieve the massive results you know we get daily.

Take responsibility for your diary right now, nobody else is really in charge of it. 30-45 minutes is achievable for anyone.

2. There is no excuse for you not eating healthy 80% of the time at least. Blaming others is very easy, but YOU are likely in charge of that shopping list and what you buy. You either buy food that is going to enhance your life and explode your energy levels to the upside, or you buy rubbish, devoid of energy foods that offer you no goodness at all, make you irritable and only push you into wild mood swings that destroy your desire to improve and actually train regularly.

Take responsibility for your food that comes into your house, and your health will dramatically improve over time.

3. Hang out with more positive people. The 5 people you hang out with most (at work, school, college, social) usually dictate your views on life, how many challenges you take on and what aspirations in life you really have. Are you going to let people talk your ambitions down and tell you a higher quality of life is not possible, or are you finally going to get away from these negative people and choose your influences more positively?

Once you take action on these three things, momentum starts to swing your way and you will move forward strongly and in a very positive way. Once you have momentum, then anything is possible. It all starts with taking action right now.

Tuesday, 23rd August

Taking responsibility for your daily actions means you will develop into a greater leader and others will follow you. When you take full responsibility, you are likely to do your best, and leave as positive a mark as possible.

If you have kids, they are looking at your habits and they will likely follow you.

If you exercise, they will be encouraged to workout and being active will be important to you as a family.

If you eat healthily, then they will treat having healthy food in the house as second nature and accept it as the right way to eat and to get energy.

If you act positive, take positive action and look at the positive side of situations, most people around you will be encouraged to take your side and share your optimism.

Your daily performance reflects what your beliefs really are. If you want to be energetic, positive, chase down results, achieve more things every day, be a positive influence, then exercise and eating right are key elements in all of these positive things.

All of these things mentioned already point to a more enjoyable, productive existence and show the difference your life can make to others if you lead it in a positive way backed up by positive actions.

Monday, 22nd August

We have already gone through a lot of new shoulder/back/hip/knee stretches this morning. These are designed to get you of pain in these areas, or recognise potential problems developing into something more painful and stop real problems for you BEFORE they happen. Prevention is always better than cure.

We are trying to get through these programmes with everyone however long it takes us. We passionately believe you will be better off going through this, increase your performance and stay pain free and resolves many other problems.

Commit yourself to not only getting in shape, losing body fat, getting fitter, but get through these important movements and everything will work that much better for you and protect you in the future from many injuries.

If you have an injury, doing nothing about it is always the worst strategy. When you don’t train, you become stiffer, starting putting weight on and makes the initial problem much worse.

One of the most common questions i get from those of you who have just started is “this exercise is great but what do i do to get rid of my stomach?”.

Your programme is composed to have total balance to hit everything on your body, or it’s not a good programme. Ill-thought out programmes won’t work well for you, and will often cause imbalances and even injury. That is the first thing we concentrate on, making your programme sound and fundamentally improve you in every area.

The days of doing endless sit ups for your stomach ended in the last century, and you will see now that we have countless alternatives, working your core as a whole (your back, hamstrings, bum, thighs, groins, hips, stomach muscles etc), and once you go through our programmes, you will soon realise we attack that area very strongly indeed AND every other area.

So the bottom line is you need to STICK with the programme, get through ALL of it, buckle down to the hard work required, and show up a minimum of 3 times a week. THERE’S NO OTHER WAY TO GET THE AMAZING RESULTS WE REGULARLY DEMONSTRATE. It doesn’t happen by accident, by “hoping for the best” or by luck.

One more thing so your stomach looks even better-YOU WILL NEVER OUT-TRAIN A BAD DIET-please remember that.
