We all need a chat with ourselves most days, especially when we first get up or taken meaningful action that day. If we listen to what’s going on in our heads, then we will likely be put off because doubt and worry is usually our first option.
It’s easier not to take action, it’s easier not to have a go, this way we never will get disappointed again. We all have tried things and failed, and swore that will be the very last time we want to feel that let down.
How we talk to ourselves may be the game-changer.
Have you told yourself or felt that you ARE enough and are good enough to have a go at something you would really like to do? Or do you look down on at your feet again and don’t really believe that.
Do you self-sabotage your success even when you get it? You don’t feel as if you deserve it maybe? Happiness and success is for “other people”.
So relying on how we feel when we haven’t exercised yet in that day is a bad idea. Our mind isn’t elevated, our mind has had no spark, and asking ourselves to do something difficult that requires a lot of energy and strength doesn’t seem top of our list!
Do your exercise FIRST, then you will see the truth thats going on in your mind. When you talk into the gym ,do an online workout, do a run, walk or cycle you always feel incredibly better.
If you were in that frame of mind all of or most of the time, can you imagine the things you would actually try and with more confidence? Seizing your moments and acting when you’re in the best state of mind increases your chances of success and happiness tenfold.
Would you sit on the sidelines in life with an elevated and elated state of mind? I think not.
Make big moments in your life happen by the elevated state you can easily create yourself by hitting your workout hard and benefiting the rest of the day. You are in charge and you ARE enough, never forget it.
