There are people who accept help, no matter how high a level they perform at, and those who don’t accept help.
The ones who accept help forever remain students, see constant improvements, have their body in balance, physically and mentally, and living healthy is exactly that-a lifestyle.
Then there are people forever looking for “the secret”.
When we get to 18, sometimes, 16 and even 14 many of us swear we know it all, and this strategy sometimes never changes, until we need to change desperately and then it’s time to do it the right way.
It’s common sense to think that if we exercise regularly every week, we will feel and look better. If we eat healthier most of the time, then we will feel and look better.
Then you have some people who will try to “beat the system” with a “system”. They think they can get away with eating rubbish most of the time, and not exercising because there is a new “wonder system out there” that has come from Russia, USA, Lithuania, London or Timbucktoo even!
This system will wash away years of not exercising, will wash away years of eating badly and will even throw a tan into the deal too! And usually all done in 10-15 minutes a day, and the job is totally done in 21 days, and we all live happily ever after.
I don’t have to comment hopefully what i think think of these plans, but the crying shame is the time wasted on chasing down these “wonder systems”. The time spent believing that this way will somehow work this time.
The time spent ordering products from the “deepest valleys of the most sacred mountains in Nepal”, and “yes if we buy now, we can have it all at a much discounted price for a LIMITED TIME ONLY”!, can surely be spent on training properly and at least 3 times a week, spend money wisely on healthy foods with no “secret ingredients” and spend time reading positive influences, instead of the teachings of the latest “guru” who’s training experience doesn’t go much further than the computer screen they spend most of their day on.
Become a student, stay a student, once we all accept that we are all students we all improve and can obtain measurable progress and transform the way we look and feel for life
