Had a couple of lengthy and genuinely emotional messages off a few of you last week or so. You are still members but haven’t trained for a couple of weeks, maybe a few weeks or longer and are in a rut.
You even get your kit and trainers on a couple of times, ready to come down but you back down last minute because you have put weight on, lost confidence, and don’t want to face anyone.
Then another week goes and the pain of coming down increases, and you begin to think what’s the point.
Your doubt increases and you say it’s frustrating because you become someone who “watches from the sidelines” instead of taking part anymore.
You recall how great you used to do, how great you used to feel and how great your body felt, and a huge thing, you were right in the mind and feeling super strong. Having your mindset strong is so important.
Here’s an important from me and everyone at the gym. We would LOVE to see you again but only YOU can pull the trigger and make it through the door.
Jodie Thomas showed enormous courage by just walking through the door yesterday morning, on Saturday she was in hospital having collapsed, but she KNOWS how great exercise can make her feel, both her body and in her mind.
This is a strong invite back, but you have to be the catalyst, you have to be the force of change in your own life, take charge again and believe in yourself. We can’t persuade eternally everyone to come back and train, we believe that inner spark HAS to come from you again or the drive will come from the wrong place. It’s all about you, we are the support environment so please trust yourself to make the right decision.
Once you step through the door, we will ALL be waiting to support you to the max. You will soon be up to top speed again and the confidence will soon flow, and you will be laughing again externally AND internally after 5 minutes of your first session back.
