Monday in my dictionary means “beginning, the start of, let’s try again, let’s feel better”.
Most people view it as “dreary, difficult, to be avoided, a struggle”, and you will have a ton of people who agree with you.
Everyone who i have ever met who has actually exercised on a Monday, automatically feels better, gets a better start to the week, and is inspired to get their eating back to normal, after a weekend that may well have been heavy in sugar.
Monday is a routine we should embrace as it fixes not only our bodies but our minds too. When our bodies move more, our mind starts to get reawakened too. From the weekend slumber, comes the urgency of what we need to do for our week.
Exercise and monday go together, especially when you get past the first five minutes, once your body has got used to it. Once you get 15 minutes into your programme, you will suddenly want to do even more, because you will start feeling better.
The big numbers you used to do when you were feeling good, will enter your head again, and you will soon realise whether you still have this ability. If you do great, but if you don’t, you will be keen to return the next day to see what you can do to improve.
So monday if your ultimate “reset” button. Monday reminds us what can be done, what we are putting the hard in for and why, how important energy is in our lives, and without energy, then little is possible.
Monday is the ultimate on social media for negative slogans, the reality is that we wouldn’t get anywhere without the greatest energy shots that monday always brings. The effort you put into finding the slogans, put it all into your training instead, and watch how monday changes instantly for you.
As the day when you should you start your greatest work, then monday is always the kick-start you always need no matter how little you feel like doing it in the first place. Seize the moment today to get everything going in the RIGHT WAY.
