ALL of you have good character, and one of the ways character is built is focusing on your LONG term goals, and where possible, avoiding many of the short term pleasures that will trip us up.
I’m not talking about having a drink once a week, it’s great to enjoy yourself. I am not talking about occasional treats, we are all human and we need to enjoy ourselves.
Short term pleasures or the easy way out include having a week off for no reason, which turns into a month off and your motivation disappearing.
Eating rubbish all week because you had a bad monday, and you say “i may as well eat badly all week now”.
Ask yourself what character you are made of, one which shows up for your sessions EVEN WHEN YOU DON’T REALLY WANT TO, or are you the one who thinks one more night off won’t matter.
That’s your character right there and is decisive in determining how quickly your longer goals become reality IF AT ALL.
