  1. i do two work out’s a week using a total gym (for the strength work) all done at the lowest settings just to tone myself up & cycling (5 miles) on a new track thats been made behind my house.
I do either one three times a week ie total gym mon, wed, fri then cycling tues, thurs, sat morning and perhaps if i feel like it just a quite little ride after sunday dinner.
All are done at my pace cos i’m not looking for a quick fix i’m treating this fittness/diet has a work in progress.Cos i know if i go full out the lot will all be put back on in no time.

  2. Excellent work there Cyril, most of us don’t realise there are lots we can do in and around our home. From past correspondence, i can tell everyone that you are already becoming a great example to others, and fitness is often a great example of the tortoise and the hare story! Slow and gradual is a good way to go, but i would suggest you are actually doing better than you thought, as what you have posted is very respectable schedule. Look for constant improvements each week if you can, sometimes you won’t be able to improve each week but as long as the trend is upwards, then you know you will eventually achieve amazing results!

    Thanks for posting,
    Keri

  3. what i have found that with the cycling, I’ve managed to only stop for a breather twice now, where i was stopping about 4/5 times and thought this is a waste of time cos i’m walking more than riding.
But was amazed how quick it came down to stopping only twice.forgot to say its all up hill and cos of the wind were have at the moment there’s no free wheeling back down you have to cycle back to,lol, lol, lol.
