The best teams don’t stay where they are, they don’t only “defend” the position they are in, they ATTACK new opportunities. Without an attack mindset, none of us ever get better.
Every programme we get I want you to attack it no matter how hard it is to start with, get better every time, lift a bit more when you can, do some more reps when you can, you must stay on the attack.
Defending your position means you have “settled” and waiting for things to only get worse for you, “doing what you can” is not the same as wanting to get better, defend is a defeatist attitude, you must aim for improvement more or less every workout, even a little bit each time adds up to a lot, and if you feed your body right too, then substantial improvements WILL happen over time.
