Doing the right thing is what we always have to do, we try to avoid fads and actively tell individuals we train why we don’t adopt certain ways of training.
Of course we could have you all do burpees and run around the block several times, but we want to improve your fitness with intelligence, show you that we can coach you properly, plus not risk any injury to you by employing unintelligent one size fits all training methods that are destined to fail over time.
We want to get you stronger and eliminate pain from your body, not give you a treatment that may reduce pain for 24-28 hours and not really solve the real weakness in your body.
Social media is full of people who have ideas on how to train someone, but their sample size of people they train is often minuscule and the length of time they have been training people is dramatically short to form any kind of opinion with any confidence.
Nobody can convince me EVER that white bread is “okay” or even “good for you”, or convince me that taking supplements is better than having a strong foundation with your diet eating good fresh food every day, nobody can convince me that any faddy diet works, because they get dis-proven almost every single day.
We tell you straight that hard work is the way to do it, I see people in the gym every day who are regulars, they achieve iNCREDIBLE things, people who show up now and again struggle to make improvements and it’s important to be straight and honest with everyone, we do things tried and tested not what “he said or she said”, watch our for people who give you advice, who have their trained? Have they got self-interest at the heart of their advice? And is it their main job or something they read on social media or the magazine in the hairdresser?
We start another week with complete conviction we are doing the right thing for everyone that comes through the door.
