I have trained a lot of high performers over many, many years, still do, and i have seen them very early in the morning. They will frequently answer the door in their pyjamas, rubbing their eyes from a heavy night’s sleep.
They say if I wasn’t their knocking them up, they wouldn’t be doing it.
BUT they are eternally thankful for getting their behind’s out of bed and getting stuff done once the workout is complete.
The facts are it DOES set you up to feel like a million bucks, it does get your mind in the right place to aim high and perform towards the top end of your ability, and gets all that negativity OUT of your mind very early in the day.
I do call it a competitive advantage for those In business or high powered jobs.
It’s a competitive advantage to be a parent or grandparent too, handling all the stress your kids will likely go through at school, and they rely big time on you to be understanding, positive and lead the way in their lives as a great. Shining light example for them.
Personally, my motivation doesn’t come from the days that I am not active.
My higher ;levels of performance mentally does not come from days I have been idle.
I learned a long time ago I can’t really afford to be in that state for long, as I have a lot of output and performance to get through in my week so I have to kick my own behind to be at the top of my game too.
When we move we get our minds right in a big way. In the daily war with mental health where so many people suffer hugely, I urge you to take a massive step in the right direction and start to crush all the negativity and anxiety that is holding your life back-done waste another day.
