Thursday, 21st June

Good morning on a terribly wet morning!!!

Today, I take FULL responsibility for your progress as as long as you do a couple of things.

Show up 3 times a week, like you said when you started.

There are many commitments you have during the day I know, but apart from family and kids, which ONE is more important than your health? ANOTHER needless meeting after work? Which one is more important that you can’t show up for half hour even? We can get a LOT out of you 3 times a week.

Try eating a little better. Accept your eating and drinking habits have to change gradually if you want true success AND have the energy to power you through ever increasing workouts. Accept you ARE what you eat. I take FULL responsibility if you just make a small effort every week to get better in this regard.

I take FULL responsibility if you surround yourself with more people who will encourage you. Having negative influences around you will always hold you back, not let you reach your huge potential and be like a “good cop, bad cop” influence in your life telling you to do good and bad things for your health.

Good people in your life will be thrilled by your constant progress.

I take FULL responsibility if you stop calling in your favourite shop/petrol station to get wine/beer most nights on the way home. Alcohol stops your fat-burning by a third, and means you will be swimming against the tide and making life terribly hard for yourself, and adding to anxiety levels.

I will take FULL responsibility if you want to smash your stress levels into small little pieces. Show up and give more time to the punch bag, more time outside on the tyres and ladders, more time to the air assault bike, and aim to lift more and more each week, this is guaranteed to help with your head and what goes on within it.

I am here accepting FULL responsibility and you have to take some ownership too. FULL responsibility to call me on 07968 980 808 anytime and work it out for you.

I believe in you.

P.S. IT’S SUNNY this afternoon, every storm passes, and every storm in your head passes too if you take some action to get rid of it.

Wednesday, 20th September

There’s something GOOD in every situation, and you had better get used to seeing it more and using it as an opportunity.

Someone has a bad leg at the gym, you may have heard me say it’s a great opportunity to get your upper body stronger while your leg rests.

Someone has a lot of stress in their life, it’s a great opportunity to get rid of a lot of it at the gym, the best stress reliever of the lot.

Someone is negative, then it’s a great opportunity to show them how positive action would transform their lives and challenge them to change.

Problems come and go in business, you soon learn that they are good because it prepares you better for them and adversity in the future, and you become a better business for it.

Often nobody gives you a chance, says you can’t do it, “just can’t be done”, it’s that exact moment you have the “fuel” to work harder than ever before and become so good they can’t ignore you.

Fed up that your business/job isn’t bring you success? How about working much harder and serving every person you come into contact with better? That will change your world right there and your success will come automatically in relation to how well you serve others.

Seeing good in situations proves you have the fire still deep within you, that you want to make a difference in people’s lives, and today you will rise up and prove that you are still very much alive and ready to fight.

Sunday, 17th September

There are people who accept help, no matter how high a level they perform at, and those who don’t accept help.

The ones who accept help forever remain students, see constant improvements, have their body in balance, physically and mentally, and living healthy is exactly that-a lifestyle.

Then there are people forever looking for “the secret”.

When we get to 18, sometimes, 16 and even 14 many of us swear we know it all, and this strategy sometimes never changes, until we need to change desperately and then it’s time to do it the right way.

It’s common sense to think that if we exercise regularly every week, we will feel and look better. If we eat healthier most of the time, then we will feel and look better.

Then you have some people who will try to “beat the system” with a “system”. They think they can get away with eating rubbish most of the time, and not exercising because there is a new “wonder system out there” that has come from Russia, USA, Lithuania, London or Timbucktoo even!

This system will wash away years of not exercising, will wash away years of eating badly and will even throw a tan into the deal too! And usually all done in 10-15 minutes a day, and the job is totally done in 21 days, and we all live happily ever after.

I don’t have to comment hopefully what i think think of these plans, but the crying shame is the time wasted on chasing down these “wonder systems”. The time spent believing that this way will somehow work this time.

The time spent ordering products from the “deepest valleys of the most sacred mountains in Nepal”, and “yes if we buy now, we can have it all at a much discounted price for a LIMITED TIME ONLY”!, can surely be spent on training properly and at least 3 times a week, spend money wisely on healthy foods with no “secret ingredients” and spend time reading positive influences, instead of the teachings of the latest “guru” who’s training experience doesn’t go much further than the computer screen they spend most of their day on.

Become a student, stay a student, once we all accept that we are all students we all improve and can obtain measurable progress and transform the way we look and feel for life
