Anxiety day 5

Progress, I see it coming through. Many of you go through painful emotions every day but you are starting to work those feelings out through the magic that is exercise.

It’s hard to believe something can fix it, and no problem is like the other, but I do know you’re going to feel better if you exercise, literally DO ANYTHING that makes you move more, and I know it WILL make you feel better, make you think more constructively about your future, and take the action steps need to create a better future.

If you don’t continue to take action where does this leave you?

It leaves you going around in circles. You either go around a roundabout with no exits just going round and round, or if you continue to grab the bull by the balls, then you will EXIT at your OWN convenience and choose the path YOU really want.

You finally taking control will mean the world to you, it’s YOU who is getting out of the fog yourself and nobody else.

Here’s one more thing, once you practice exercise on a daily basis, you tend to want MORE of the feeling it gives you, more of the hope it gives you, more of “there’s better to come in life”.

I’m not expert but I know if you stick at it every day, get in some fresh air at least once and get breathing hard, then wondrous magical things will come into your life.

For starters, get out of this fog you may be in, see life a little clearer and show the world you’re not finished, you are only just getting started and you’re about light to torch paper to being a far greater success than you ever imagined.

Anxiety day 4.

So it’s hammering down with rain, getting colder, darker and optimism for some ebbs away. In a month or so, the SAD syndrome starts, when the changing of the seasons signifies a significant worsening of mood and in some cases depression.

The problem is only multiplied when you start to miss workouts at the gym. You will feel so much better when you train, mentally and physically, so missing this will have a negative impact.

You then miss the social interaction which again affects your mood. We all need people time, and we all need lifting up at times.

If you show up for workouts, you have much more incentive to eat well. When you skip workouts, you often say what’s the point?

When you don’t exercise or eat well, your sleep starts getting affected, which leads to low energy and a rise in you being more irritable and liable to mood swings.

The beginning of yet more anxiety could be starting today, right now, or are you going to go the OTHER much more positive way and turn it around this winter.

Think of the positive effects on your life and those closest to you. Change the pattern, change your habits, and change your destiny by moving your body more and doing it all in a very supportive environment to get you through it all.

Tuesday, 26th September

So let’s call this anxiety week, and how being nervous (to whatever level) affects us all in our plans for the next day and what we do in the moment.

This is a little known, but when I first started off, I really hoped each session went well with everyone I trained, before and after the session, no matter what success I had, I really wanted more and didn’t recognise my efforts as anything out of the ordinary, I just had to get better because I was paranoid about still having business, which is pretty good motivation!!

It’s a trait I still have, and I think it’s a good one that keeps me paranoid about doing well for every individual, every session every day.

The nervousness you feel each day should be seen as an advantage to you, learned that myself and keeps you on your toes. It means you are eager to do your best, to give it your all, and decent people should appreciate the sincere effort you are putting in.

There will be people no matter how much you do for them in whatever job you do, will still question your effort for them. It’s time to leave them go or they will drain your spirit, and you will question your ability on a daily basis, which will lead to anxiety.

Some people will drag you down daily, it may be workmates, may even be best friends, anxiety is often caused by these people “playing you” against one thing or another and ultimately you will be the loser.

Consider the big picture. If you are giving your very best every day, then you are successful in any language. You are very likely giving a lot of value to everyone you come into contact with. Many people appreciate you, some may not be able to do without you, but SOMEHOW because the people you associate most doubt you at every opportunity, your self-esteem will be hurt and anxiety will only build and build until it becomes unbearable.

Work out how much you give to others every day, how much you genuinely help people with sincerity, and appreciate the great work you do, see it in the cold light of day.

Then single out those who will tear you down, doubt what you say, doubt how good you are at your job/training/anything, and please take them out of your life because that’s a massive part of your anxiety right there.

The best thing I ever did was take those who were deeply unhelpful in my own life OUT of my life, and I never looked back. Sooner you make the decision the better, and watch your anxiety drop or even disappear.
