If it’s down to anyone, it’s down to you.

Whether you have experienced unfairness in team sport, a job promotion, been passed over for endless things in your life,“knowing the right people” whatever it is, no more “favourites” will exist when it’s YOU training because it’s against yourself, nobody else, no outside influences, no fixes, JUST you against you and the efforts you are willing to keep putting in!

Then we give you TOOLS to do great things, and the right pathway to do that.

Professional training that’s ALWAYS got another level of difficulty and performance, and it’s down to YOU to dig deeper than you ever thought.

This is WHERE the great results live.

The hard work matters and the consistency of that hard grind takes time to show up on the success page, and others noticing and acknowledging you are doing/have done incredible things.

Success and achievement never happens overnight, it never happens after just one hard session, it’s a long road and the showing up when it’s dark, cold, raining even when it would be easier to spend the day on the settee “talking a good game”.

You have everything in your favour, everything going for you, all it requires is for you to step up and show the courage relentlessly to keep doing your best over a long period of time, that’s where true success and accomplishment really lives.

Jan 4th-get it done

The moments when you just get it done no matter what.I had a normal morning today with a 420am start, private training and then day 3 of our brand new programme which has been hugely demanding on a personal level mentally and physically, and I know it has been for all of you too. Then I had to have an accountant meeting scheduled in the middle of my live core and cardio session.

So it meant a potential posponement of my live online session or not do it at all and “catch up” at some stage..In my experience, I find the “catch up” type of attitude means usually it will NEVER get done.Instead of 1140am I got online eventually at 1pm even though I was feeling pretty tired by then.In my moments of doubt about getting it done, I reminded myself to ask a different question.

I promised everyone a high standard online, plenty of new stuff this year, and even if I was tired, I was going to give it a great shot today, because if I don’t “I will know” that I had “gone easy” today, and you can;t do that when you’re asking everyone else to give great things of themselves, and this early in the new year, the standard should NEVER drop.It proves none of us have perfect days, none of us have “loads of time” just to exercise, we all have to “fit it in” whenever we can, and if we have an attitude in life to put things off to “maybe someday”, then we will never get anything done, and our workouts are the one constant that not only keeps us physically in shape, but looks after our mental wellbeing better than anything else and should always be a NON-NEGORTIABLE when it comes to looking after ourselves and others.

Become an athlete

Everyone has opinions, it’s a fact of life, but when we let negative opinions define us, it can be the biggest hurdle we have when we want to succeed at something.

In many cases, we may get 8 or even 9 good opinions of our efforts out of 10, but it’s often the one petty, unkind and often cruel opinion of us that we focus the most on.

So if we have a range of ambitious programmes ready to go in the new year, I know some of you will naturally wonder “am I good enough?”.

I’m here to tell you 100% that you are..

Bill Bowerman’s (joint founder of Nike) main ambition was to get everyone wearing the Nike shoes to think of himself/herself as an athlete.

Most people who bought the shoes didn’t likely think of themselves as an athlete, but once they started moving more, and started doing athletic things on a regular basis, they moved much closer to becoming an athlete than before they even first thought of buying their new training shoes.

When you think of yourself as an athlete, you are likely to take your training more seriously. You are likely to want to eat better (more like an athlete), you are more likely to want you move like an athlete and not restrict yourself to all machine workouts (which never do much to turn you into an athlete who can move really well).

Not many people suddenly become an athlete from nothing, everyone has to work at it, we all have to learn better, to move as the body was intended to, to learn how to run faster, to learn better balance and coordination, to get stronger and to continuously learn new skills to make us, you got it, a better athlete.

All of these vital skills can be taught every day at the gym or online with us, practice things you may not be very good to start with, and give it enough time, and you will soon be able to make the very difficult seem like second nature.

All part of your transformation to become a good athlete.

Jan 1st 2024

Happy New Year everyone and just to confirm we are open from tomorrow 830am. There will be some more big changes this year too.

Many of you messaged me over Christmas when you saw the gym door open and activity outside. This was due to me pushing through young very talented athletes who play high level sport through their paces, and taking them to a higher level again.

I didn’t advertise this (we never advertise anyway) as we were officially closed and they were very small groups and high quality sessions, and most of you know I do private training at the gym and away from the gym anyway and I couldn’t leave these athletes down.

I am bringing these type of sessions to the gym on Tuesday 530pm, Wednesday 530pm, Thursday 530pm and Friday at 430pm every week in 2024. If you want to participate in these Athlete Training Camps, please message me because they will be highly beneficial and rewarding.

I consider you ALL athletes anyway so you are ALL welcome, and all the sessions will be sport specific but will benefit ALL of you if you want to get better with your strength, power, speed, agility and balance.

Morning classes will continue at 9am and 1025am every day, plus whatever time you come in, we will continue to work very well and very hard together.

On top of all that, I have FOUR new programmes operating the same time at the gym, and I will be starting them TOMORROW our first day back so there will be a LOT of teaching. There’s a lot of new stuff you haven’t done before, it’s about using the latest science of training and making 2024 your best year ever.

We also had massive support for our online training last year, this will resume TOMORROW and this week will offer a lot of new stuff in those new workouts too.

So as long as you bring in a great attitude and a willingness to learn new things, this year is very likely to get off to a GREAT START for you!!!

Dec 22nd 2023

Suddenly it’s the last day day at the gym before Christmas, and after 7pm tonight, we will be having a rest until Tuesday 2nd January.

We’d like to thank you all for supporting us so well all year long and this is always very much appreciated, and we are always thrilled to see so many of you training so hard at the gym, continuing to change your life for the better, getting your body and mind right and doing so incredibly well.

The support online has grown substantially again this year too which we are very thankful for and makes all those very early mornings very much worth it. There are almost 2000 workouts for you to choose from online available anytime during the Christmas break.

Thanks to Gail for doing such a great job in her classes, and Nikki for keeping the gym looking so good with her very much appreciated artistry and surgical cleanliness.

We hope you have a healthy and happy Christmas and New Year and we are forever grateful for your efforts and continued loyalty, and we wish you continued success and happiness going into 2024.

With great gratitude,

Keri, Nicola and family.
