Deep down reasons why you exercise. 

Deep down reasons get you into the gym especially when you don’t want to. The gym can be one honest place where you put the effort in, and you WILL get results and rewards from it, and they will spread across every area of your life.

You should never exercise for “likes”, or for what “someone else thinks about your efforts”, or any perceived idea on what you “should look like”.

Your deep down reasons may be overcoming an existing health condition, it may be to get out of pain in your body or  plenty of pain in your mind which affects a lot of people.

It may be just to get you through the day during difficult times.

It may be the one good thing you can count on in your life at the moment, before things start to get better, but these reasons are PERSONAL TO YOU.

We can serve you well, get you through every new programme, get you out of pain and help you recover from injury, but you have to play your part, give every effort, come in with a great attitude, come into a place which appreciates zero drama as we have so much to get through, and only emphasises hard work and doing things RIGHT!

Get fired up and get ready to battle for your true deepest reasons.

Lots of studies show that a lot of people aren’t so happy in their lives anymore, but the studies also show that joy and happiness are two different things, but joy does contribute heavily to happiness.

Most of us are so busy and we expect joy all the time to happen “just like that”, and we should be happy “all the time”, based on so many others  often made up “perfect lives” on social media?

Think of the things that really cause you joy in life, and that version is often different for all of us.

Are you scheduling it in? Or are you just grinding away with no reward on the horizon, and doing the things that ultimately make us miserable or keep us in a low energy state is virtually guaranteed to keep us feeling sad.

Your joyous moments are personal to you, but usually seeing close friends that make us laugh and uplift us is a great start.

When we go to the gym, we often see people who encourage us, make us laugh and make us feel more confident, even if we have a lot of other things going on in our lives.

Family is very important to most of us, and positive experiences with them are usually a great idea to do as often as possible, but time often gets away from us, so scheduling in these joyous moments becomes even more important.

We know occasional treats with our food and drink can initially lift us up a bit, but do it too often and live on ultra processed food too long and drink too much and its proven to make us sick and create pain in our bodies, as well as often making us feel depressed for large periods of our days,

Eating good healthy food that energises us seems like a no brainer, hitting the gym regularly mixing with positive people is a guaranteed great experience, spending times with loved one creates natural highs in our lives and the more of these things we do the better.

Scheduling in great moments in our lives is a great habit, keeps our moods as high as possible, and are a great antidote for the inevitable stress, challenges and low moments in life that happen to all of us.
