All of us have fears, we don’t do anything about them half the time, and this is why we feel paralysed into not doing a thing about them if we let them overcome us over time.

You must tell yourself YOU ARE BIGGER THAN YOUR FEARS, you can battle through doubts, you can fight those who bring you doubt by showing them once and for all you are actually good enough-you have us 100% on your side.

Not one person has ever come into our gym and they weren’t good enough. What is common though is people doubting themselves purely down to the actions of others.

We have so many members who do great things with us, some of that has been well publicised. They didn’t have more money than you, they didn’t have a special background, they didn’t know the “right people”, they didn’t have any more special attention than you.

Recognising that you have greatness in you is the first step. Once you do that, you need to start proving it. Taking action, fighting through great workouts, making the very best out of that great potential you have is YOUR DUTY.

Don’t settle for second best-EVER. You owe it to your family, and those closest to you to leave a legacy, to inspire them to be great too, and leave a trail of inspiration and achievement that others will be all too willing to follow in because you PROVED that anyone can do this!

Wednesday, 12th July

The things we put off are often our greatest opportunities, but most of us put up with a more painful situation and until change is thrust upon us.

All of us have opportunities of doing a course for example that will advance us at work, maybe gain a promotion or get us the job of our dreams, but for some reason we put it off as something will happen “maybe next year”.

Many of us even put up with pain in our teeth just so we won’t have to go to the dentist, until the pain become unbearable and we HAVE to go.

Many of us put off exercise as something “we will do in the future” at some stage, but often never get around to it. Unfortunately, many will never exercise until the doctor tells them they HAVE to get more active if they want to be well again.

Feeding our minds with positive influences and reading more changes eventually the way we think, and the way we see the world. Picking up a book every day is tough especially to start with, but once the habit sticks, becomes one of the most powerful things you will ever do.

Once we get active and give it some time to work, our lives change from one of spluttering through life and “getting through” somehow, to one of enjoyment and fulfilment through being active.

From a life of observing from the sidelines to a life of being in the game EVERY day, and taking part in everything life has to offer.

Owe it to yourself to take all the everyday opportunities right in front of you. They may not seem obvious right now, and the hardest step is to take your first one, but it’s your duty to become better, to positively influence those closest to you, to take yourself out of the comfort zone, face and overcome your fears and become the person you were meant and deserve to be.

Tuesday, 11th July

When we have deadlines, and we are at our busiest, we tend to get more stuff done.

Before our filming earlier in the year, we had 3 weeks to get new flooring ordered and laid, we had to get the entire gym painted in 3 days (and walls scraped down), we had the whole gym re-organised, and a lot of equipment removed with new stuff arriving.

If we hadn’t had this ridiculous 3 week deadline, we would never have crammed this in such a tight deadline. The take away from this is GET STUFF DONE NOW!!!!

Most of you have a long term approach to fitness, but some of you train to improve a certain level, then leave it off, then starting the whole process again periodically, which is madness and denying your talents reaching their full potential on a permanent basis.

This happens partly because you let stuff get in the way, you lose momentum and eventually motivation. Have an attitude that STUFF NEEDS TO HAPPEN TODAY-This is your deadline!!!

Make plans now, but TAKE ACTION now too. It’s the only way to make sure you stay in the zone and stay very happy with your efforts and have great fulfilment from it all.
