Monday, 14th August

Monday in my dictionary means “beginning, the start of, let’s try again, let’s feel better”.

Most people view it as “dreary, difficult, to be avoided, a struggle”, and you will have a ton of people who agree with you.

Everyone who i have ever met who has actually exercised on a Monday, automatically feels better, gets a better start to the week, and is inspired to get their eating back to normal, after a weekend that may well have been heavy in sugar.

Monday is a routine we should embrace as it fixes not only our bodies but our minds too. When our bodies move more, our mind starts to get reawakened too. From the weekend slumber, comes the urgency of what we need to do for our week.

Exercise and monday go together, especially when you get past the first five minutes, once your body has got used to it. Once you get 15 minutes into your programme, you will suddenly want to do even more, because you will start feeling better.

The big numbers you used to do when you were feeling good, will enter your head again, and you will soon realise whether you still have this ability. If you do great, but if you don’t, you will be keen to return the next day to see what you can do to improve.

So monday if your ultimate “reset” button. Monday reminds us what can be done, what we are putting the hard in for and why, how important energy is in our lives, and without energy, then little is possible.

Monday is the ultimate on social media for negative slogans, the reality is that we wouldn’t get anywhere without the greatest energy shots that monday always brings. The effort you put into finding the slogans, put it all into your training instead, and watch how monday changes instantly for you.

As the day when you should you start your greatest work, then monday is always the kick-start you always need no matter how little you feel like doing it in the first place. Seize the moment today to get everything going in the RIGHT WAY.

Saturday, 12th August

What are you doing before sunrise today? It’s 557am today and if you have huge aspirations, you had better be putting something in catching the greatest time the day.

You could have been up for a walk by then, seeing amazing views over burry port, llanelli, carmarthen or wherever you live.

You could be planning what you need to do to make your passion better. If you want to become a better, you could be practicing your swing, to be better fighter would be studying technique and mindset in the ring/cage, to feel better full stop, you would be out and doing something or on a mat in front of the TV getting fired up with your exercise.

For me, it’s up the mountain catching a great sunset over burry port, i want to catch that great sunset!!! I am taking my camcorder to get a better time lapse effect for our videos, amazing opportunity that ONLY comes once a day.

If you can’t sleep, put that time to positive use and DO something that will make your life better, plan your great future, plan roadmap of what’s going to take you there, what are the unavoidable things you have to do to be great at what you do? It may be uncomfortable but every great journey needs planning so you can go out and grab the great things you really want!!!

Time for action before the sun comes up!!!!

Saturday, 12th August

The way you do one thing is the way you do everything. If you get up early every morning of the week, then it’s tough to lay in the weekend, nor do you often want to. Saturday is often my earliest start despite it being my day off.

You can’t be negative every day and then the weekend be a positive influence on others.

You can’t make incremental positive changes to your life by training one day, then having a week off, then training two days, then having two weeks off, it doesn’t work like that and this haphazard approach will often affect all areas of your life too.

You have to see the opportunities that come your way and take them, they are always there each and every day and you CAN create a massive difference to your life and take them, and get used to taking them. The more you take, the more suddenly appear because it’s a chain reaction of chances in life, but you have to LOOK first.

We had 30 seconds in the supermarket filming yesterday because tracey john and i wanted the opportunity to inspire everyone to eat well. I didn’t have 8 weeks to get a reply yes or no from a national manager, we did it and the inspiration goes out today helping everyone out and tracey becomes a further beacon of hope for those who think they can’t.

I have done the same thing with Shelley Johns and i did the same in 2006 with the BBC in Tesco’s (this time with a 8 weeks wait for a written reply Diane Griffiths and approval!!)

Sometimes you have to back yourself to create greater good, and if you want to create help for others, very often the world wants to help you out and it wont stop you if you are sincere.

Practice getting up early daily, you will get more done. Practice helping others, it will reward you in many ways unexpectedly but never look for praise for it, it’s what you are put on earth for.

Opportunities are the greatest in history right now, forget Trump and idiots like that, switch off TV and FB more often, the most exciting time in YOUR world is here RIGHT NOW i promise you, so make proper time available to take them and open your mind to what can be achieved through YOUR actions..
