It’s still cold but spring is around the corner, by the end of march a lot of us will be back in the garden. We need to tidy things up, cut things that shouldn’t be there or have overgrown, and we need to get the garden in some kind of order.

We need to get rid of the likely many weeds, and this process is likely to continue until late October. We may cut the lawn as soon as its ready, and that lawn will start growing faster and faster after the first cut, then we develop some kind of weekly routine that needs sticking to, or everything can soon get out of control again.

Your body and your environment is your garden and you need to keep on getting rid of the weeds. 

Your daily food intake should be all mostly good, but if there’s continually lots of sugary foods still in there, then they need WEEDING and got rid of or your joints will soon start to ache more and more and pain can soon start to invade your body through the ultra-processed foods we may be eating. .

Your body is your garden too, don’t let weeds come into it through missed workouts, you need to keep moving, keep getting stronger and keep yourself good order, get plenty of fresh air and realise you were meant to move often, and the less you do the less you WANT to do.

Last of all, your mind is constantly at threat of being invaded by weeds, meaning negative people and influences are always threatening to take over your good thoughts with negative and highly destructive thoughts. 

We must weed them daily and the people you hang out with will dictate often how you think and even behave, be careful the company you keep.

Weeding time is here, do it daily and keep on top of it.

How you embrace the need to move more will be very telling when it comes to your results.

Your energy and your attitude will dictate how many times you are willing to show up at the gym. You know by now that you need to be accountable, three times at the gym works very well, and done consistently will always bring through positive change not only in your body but your mind too.

Not enough time? Half hour works very well too.

Energy, attitude, enthusiasm, passion often get lost as a lot of people age. 

Your workouts KEEP all of these things in your life in ABUNDANCE but it’s you who has to decide to show up, get your workouts done, you are the one who shops for nutritious food and doesn’t bring ultra-processed food into the house, you are the one who has to decide to get to bed early in the week and rest, instead of staying up late all the time and never properly recovering from your workouts, and starting your next day already at a disadvantage when it comes to energy and drive.

Embrace the challenge and keep forcing through healthy change and pain free living in your life.
