Flushing your mind
“Flushing”
Flushing is a very useful technique the top sports people use to reset their minds after a major mistake at a crucial time in the game.
You will see some players often go to pieces after a crucial mistake and can’t recover. With experience though, the best players often learn to “flush” their mistakes out of their minds, after a short reset, they go out and make a great play soon after somehow.
We all have negative experiences often daily, but it’s how we deal with those that either make us shrug them off, or they linger in our minds constantly.
The gym can be a great place for you to flush the rubbish out of your mind, fresh air is always amazing for flushing the toxic stuff out of your brain, and dumping your negative feelings at the gym is one of the most productive habits you can adopt on a daily basis.
The other route is not doing anything and become bogged down with negative feelings until they threaten to overwhelm you completely, eventually going down the medication route which NOBODY really wants to go down.
Keep flushing, keep taking action and keep smashing those negaitve feelings constantly through your regular workouts.
