“Staying in the game is vital” to you and keeping your standards high.

We keep our environment strong and for a reason. Once we drop it, everything drops with it. From keeping the gym clean and tidy to showing everyone at the gym respect, it starts and ends with the highest of standards.

So keeping yourself in our environment will help you in terms of mental wellbeing too. You know when you come in to train, you will have a plan to get through, and do your best during that plan. This goes without saying.

No drifting off half way through to do some treadmill, no going easy on the spin bike, you need to get through the hard work and that will never change.

You will get good and bad days in life, but when you enter the gym with us, you know you will only feel a lot better afterwards, this is where mental wellbeing becomes a massive benefit.

This is why staying in our environment works, you are pushed on by people who want the best for themselves but as importantly, FOR YOU too!!

If you go back to your days of going to work, then coming home putting your feet up and lazing on the settee all night, then how’s that going to make you feel better? Back in a rut again would be easy words to describe it.

THREE times a week MUST happen for you if you want to feel and look your best, there is no other way. Don’t pretend that once a week is good enough.

Through good times and bad times, make sure you hang on in there, stay in the game and give yourself a fighting chance to come back stronger than ever.

We are all imperfect, many of us never reach our true potential, and we are all trying to get better.

Most of our brains never work to anywhere their true potential, so these things help us make more out of ourselves.

Holding resentment for others holds us back dramatically, it consumes us so much that our brain can’t function to anywhere near where it needs to be. Leave it go, whatever it is and you immediately move forward in life.

Turn off the TV and read more stuff that’s going to help you. Most of the stuff on TV is not going to help you, it won’t change it’s life and following plot lines will keep you addicted for weeks, even months, whilst nothing changes in your life. Reading every day changed my life, and a lot of it is non-fitness related, giving yourself a deeper perspective on life will literally change the way you view the world.

Write each day, your aspirations and how you are going to change things. Life suddenly becomes more real when you write, you suddenly have a to do list. Put at least 2 productive things on that list that’s going to positively affect your life, and tick them off once you have done them or at the end of the day. This is a habit that makes you accountable to yourself and keeps a tight record on your progress.

Ship your product. Waiting for your work to be “perfect” is a never ending wait, and you will never get your work out. Life is a series of firing “bullets” until you get to fire your big “cannonball”. The bullets give us clues on what works and what doesn’t, and we develop confidence until we realise our product is getting better and actually works. Unless you keep having a go, you will never realise how great you can be.
Realise we are all imperfect, there will be never another one of you. Your DNA is different to everyone else, you have your own set of beliefs, values, thoughts and everyone can make their own impact on the world. Don’t try and be anyone else, when the world is really looking for an original, who does it their way, and your unique set of skills can change the world of someone who desperately needs help.

Put your hand up and have a go. You may have guessed by now that many people will try putting you off, but believe passionately that these people don’t control or own your life. Putting your hand up, getting a little bit better educated all the time and do your best can take you a long way. You may be imperfect like all of us but your individuality will be the critical difference in making a great life for yourself and others.
